    Bah. Did my first weigh-in yesterday morning after 13 days of consistent dieting (food diary, calorie limits adhered to, etc) and exercise. Result = no weight lost. I'm not losing heart though as have been able to feel the difference in the mornings pulling shorts on etc, and generally feeling a bit less unfit.

    Hopefully it's muscle gain and the weight will start drop off in the coming weeks.

    Or maybe 13 was just unlucky.

    Struggling . . . .

    My plain chicken and salad wrap last night took a detour. . . .

    I got some peppers to add some crunch . . .This kinda sidetracked me into a mexican theme. So..... I roasted them . . .

    and couldn't resist adding some grated cheese . . .

    Encona sauce was required (obviously) . . . .

    However I've been having an affair with "Frank's hot sauce" which is tastier but less hot - my hand was too heavy with the Encona . .

    I needed to calm things down - I had some sour cream . . .

    So my chicken salad turned into a sour cream and cheese driven, roasted red pepper feast!

    That i had with a glass of wine.

    Now I just don't know why i'm finding it so hrd to get my body fat % down.

    Boom, dropped 7 lbs - not sure how long this will last.

    Avoiding snacking at work and making my own lunches - the drinking hasn't taken a hit yet, though I really suppose it should!
    But by my reckoning introducing things once at a time leads to a higher chance of continuing with them - that fat lad at work only eats salad for the first week of January!

    Is it too late for me to join in? I'm back on the bike this week for the first time since November.

    I'm currently 16st 1lb, 6'2", target weight 14 - 14.5.

    My weight loss plan includes eating healthy, a daily commute of 25 miles and squash once or twice a week.

    Does anyone have any tips on eating healthy high-st bought lunches and snacks? I'm not the biggest fan of fruit and salad :(

    Up another lb I'm defo gonna win this one. Actually I havent really been trying very hard, it's just so dull.

    Food is nice for a reason, exercise hurts for a reason, give in go with the flow, have another cake or perhaps a mars bar sandwich.

    Don't worry, I usually drop a few then a few sneak back for no apparent reason!

    And to the above post, give boots meal deals a go £3.29 and they do salads, fruit and water!

    I've actually lost 8lbs in 2 weeks - it's just that I put on 2lbs the week before (did my first weigh-in mid-week), making my total only -6.

    It's been pretty easy actually - I've only cut out all booze since New Year, eaten really sensibly, ran 4 miles to and from the office every day and am now cycling 20 miles to and from the train station daily too. Piece of (low-fat) cake :D .
