    Oh balls i've gained another lb this is bloody stupid.

    I'm doing it properly and everything, drinking loads of beer and eating health double potions with frequent choc snacks and stuff.

    What could I be doing wrong ...?

    sneak peak this morning looks like my weekly weigh in will show 'no harm done' with my weekend of chocolate binging.

    as for weighing in mid-week. I used to maintain a weightloss blog and I liked the alliteration of weigh-in-wednesday :lol:

    This morning's weigh in had me 7lbs down on the start of the year. I suspect broken scales as I haven't done any exercise of note (one commute to work and back and that's it), although an enforced break from alcohol may explain it....

    4lbs off this week. Pleased with that.

    I commute into Holborn from the South Downs and have been running the Victoria -> office part of the journey and been off te booze since New Year (following a drunken £500 bet with my wife). Have been driving the home -> station leg so far but the cycle commute at that end kicks in from next week. Looking forward to it and dreading it in equal measure (unlit national-speed-limit country roads).

    Despite working at ExCel all weekend and eating the junk there for lunches still managed a 2 kg loss this week!

    I suspect I've just lost about 3lbs on the way to work, it was raining pretty heavily when I got dressed.. full water proofs on... pretty much dry as a bone the whole ride in except inside my clothes..urrgh

    As I was trying to say before the laptop crashed I did my first weigh in today and was please to find that I was 13st 0, that's about 6-7 lbs less than I thought I'd be. This week's weetabix diet may have worked, who knows. This moment of joy was offset as the electronic scales in the chemist also said that I was 5ft9. I've always thought I was 5ft10. Gutted.

    OK - I'm in - got down to 13 1/2 st when my DVT took me off the road and lack of riding and eating as if I was riding has put me back up to where I started - back on the road in March, but now using a turbo trainer so hope to see it coming down (and me cutting out the crap from my diet).

    Ok I fail this week I was 2lb down on wednesday then I found the 'seriously strong cheese' at the back of the fridge meaning I ended the week on a non loss (non gain either). So it sucks 70 miles on the bike + 3 runs and I didnt lose anything grrrrrrrrrrr.
