On a slightly more serious note, are we going to continue the SCR of the year award? do we want more categories this year?

I voted 10th...assuming I can get there. Work seems to be taking me to 'enforced democracies' quite a bit these days....

It's a long story, but...the group I work for is buying a company down in Oz, it's quite a big deal and there's a fair bit of work sorting out the financing and tax stuff. Me being a finance/tax anorak type, I have to go down there to make sure it all happens - probably several times. I went down last month for a few days and am due to go again early next month for a bit longer.

Unfortunately it doesn't coincide with the cricket or the F1 but stuff it, the weather was nice enough in September:

and its only going to get better so may get to spend a weekend down on the beach 8)

even though a few of us had been drinking for some time you were on a crazy mission to get proper mashed up... I let you go happily on your way for fear of getting caught up and doing an IP or and ITB the acronyms are interchangeable with regards to bikes and drinking

Any chance of a video link to the Culbokie Inn on the Black Isle? If so, I can do the 10th but the pub won't do curry. :(

  • Well, I think the 10th is emerging as the clear winner here...

I might just give the Morpeth a bell to (hopefully) save us having the same trouble we did last year...

EDIT: Just spoke to someone at the Morpeth (not Lisa - the boss) and have booked us in on the 10th.

I'll update with the booking details and costs etc when I've spoken to Lisa.
