This post simply could not have been more bang on the money if Pseudonym owned a crystal ball.
Its probably just experience and knowledge of cycling, there are some on here who have probably forgotten more about cycling than some will ever know0 -

You must be about as aero as a brick! You've got 40W on me.0 -
Well when I did that TT yesterday I never really used the drops, just sat on the hoods or stood up.0

It's the same as anything really. Do the same thing over and over again and the body adapts. Do the cat and fiddle Ad nauseum and funnily enough, your body gets used to it. Do something with a different profile, a few steeper or longer sections and your body will be surprised to say the least.0

Careful, it's against forum rules to imply our resident antagonist may have been right in the first place. Even if he was. Apparently it upsets our more sensitive members and doesn't 'add' anything to the discussion.0

He was doing pretty well in time trials/hill climbs last year, winning a hill climb and having a fair few 2nd/3rds. He's done crap these last two. Maybe he's peaked?Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

Looks like he's only really good up the Cat and Fiddle.
Or perhaps the 40 hours a week L2 he was doing on the rollers (see Goggle Wattage list) hasn't done him much good.....More problems but still living....0 -

Not sure why so many people give a sh*t about a random cyclist that not many people have heard of or met, or whether he's any good or a pile of crap. Especially those getting so wound up about it and applauding the poor blokes failure...weird thread. Anyway, as you were...0

Why doesn't someone invite this Bhima guy to the forum so he can join in the big discussion about himself. Or have a missed something from the past and you lot scared him off?0 -
He hasn't posted for a good few years now I think, but there used to be some incredible threads, the kind that affirm my notion the Internet is the greatest invention ever. Basically his threads just consisted of tall tales and ridiculous claims. To be fair the guy was harmless, but he got a lot of stick!"A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

I didn't know you could get DQ from an event for wearing headphones.
I'm sure I've seen people doing it in the past and not get DQ as it's their own fault if they get injured surely?0 -
It is more about taking pace Will, though not being able to hear clearly what is going on around you is a little bit silly IMO.0

Bhima is my favourite rider, does anyone know where I could get a Bhima poster to hang above my bikes for inspiration?0

I had never heard of Bhima before I read this thread - I have never seen nor heard of the Cat and Fiddle before reading this thread - I now chekc it regularily and Bhima is something of an idol in my life. I still find it a bit hard to believe he is real but love the thread.
PS - It's all the better for the fact he doesn't post on it makes it even more legendary (as someone pointe dout multiple pages about an OP who was never the OP) love it0 -

How's it wrong to say he was proved right? Did I miss something?"There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world, t'would be a pity to damage yours."0 -

You'd better pm 'Judge' Chasey. I think the nasty internet people were bullying the policeman again so Rick stepped in, in his new capacity as a 'mod' and made it all better by being right about everything.0 -
Seems there's no end to this poor guy's troubles.
It now looks like he was disqualified from the Buxton event:

Anoraks amongst you will know that Regulation 19a relates to the prohibited use of headphones/earphones when racing.0 -
