I'm recording the whole lot on Sky+, but doubtless I'll be unable to resist tuning in from work as well.

    *excited* :D

So who do we expect to go well in these conditions? Maybe Sammy Sanchez to attack on a wet descent, or Shleck/Menchov to slide off the road?

Looking forward to potentially the most exciting stage of the Tour for a few years (pretty much the same as I was before the Ventoux last year so probably expecting too much as usual!).

So much hangs in the balance still. Surely even the biggest Tour detractors will have to admit this is an exciting finale?

GC - Contador just ahead Schleck by 8 seconds
3rd place - Samu leads Denise by 13 seconds
Top Frenchmen - Gadret looks comfortable on this.
Slap down - Gadret v Roche?
Laterne Rouge - Grabsch leads Malori by 2 mins 1 second
Green Jersey - Hush, Alesandro Pistachio or Cav?
KOM - Charteau leads Moreau by 15 points.
Team - Radioshack or Caisse - just 4 mins 27 secs on that.

Who do you reckon for each?

coverage just started on eurosport. Just said the heli may be grounded due to lightning strikes so coverage my be through the bikes.

Schelck says he's in form of his life and is just going to trust his instincts.

    and theyre off.
The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.

Yes OK that is the best one yet and no one is going to better it.

and they are off - at least in the neutral zone - conditions shocking - arm warmers on all round but more than that needs as it is 6 degrees at the high point!!! 6 degrees thats 40 less than outside here!

Spilak decides its is too shitty to ride - and has dramatically climbed off and peeled of his numbers!! dont think I would have made it as far as getting onto the bike today
