sorry guys, i'm off to northampton this weekend to see some friends of the gf, then i'm in n.wales again all next week, gonna take the bike though so it's not all bad.

i really am gutted i haven't been able to get out with you guys

just to decide on nant yr arian or llandegla again next week

P.S Sean, will next weekend be OK to sort out the shifter?

Nice ride Paul trail lovely and fast, didnt do to bad on time also, sry for holding you up on the ups more time in the saddle i think is needed lol, can't believe i had a puncture 3/4 way down the very last xc section gggrrr.

I went up to Merthyr with a few guys from work and cycled back to Cardiff Bay. Was a pleasant if not slightly mundane ride in places and one of the boys it appears is cereally unfit to the extent that he needed 10 mins rest after about each half mile of flat/slight down :?

28 miles covered on the trial inc my travelling so all told approx 32/34 miles covered. Not a tough ride and it took us 5 hours :roll: given the frequent and lengthy stops but hey I can't complain that's me holding everyone up on most rides! but no seriously this guy takes the biscuit.

32 miles destroyed my front HR by the way, they don't like tarmac do they..

Yep, know Llantrisant very well although it's pretty much over in 8k - it's probably better used as a skill session rather than an XC loop. Although I really rate it as a short XC loop as it's fire road climbing (generally) and balls out descents.

Usually use RHP as a gateway to good long Rhondda rides; not sure what the routes are called but generally encompass the main descents.

Probably heading over (riding) to Llantrisant at 4/5pm this evening.

went over and met a few lads at llantrisant back last year and they tended todo 2 loops of it, killed me mind but got around it.

where you live?

will leave porth then and meet you in carpark say 5pm unless your on me way can pick you up?
