Well had a good bright sunny evening ride last night at Cwm.

And it was a modest 1hour7minutes which on the big toy is moving smartly so the fitness is coming back into those legs a bit just need to start up the miles on the weekends now

I avoid all the shops in cardiff like the plague these days, had so much bull from most of them

a mate of mine has used rush cycles in bryncethin(i think it's there) or i use tredz in cardiff, quite expensive but i've never had any problems with them and they're really nice guys, plus i work right next door

so, my gears are bust again. my shifter clicks but the cable just goes slack and doesn't shift anything...any ideas guys before i take a hammer to them it's the same thing that happened at the wentwood enduro and i just tightend the allen key bolt on the bottom of the shifter and that solved everything :?

nope mechs not moving, it feels like something has come loose in the shifter, i banged it when i had an off a while back and it hasn't been right since :?

i can click down the gears and nothing happens, when i 'click' back up the shifter just pushes straight through all the clicks as if a cog or something is broken/come off.

i was offered a set of x7 shifetrs for £20 the other day and i said no, should have taken them and jsut swapped the one over shouldn't i?

how long is that ride saturday ian? i'll be doing it on my hardtail if i make it :shock:

Ian can't make it now but I dont mind showing the way.
If not many interested we could always make it another week

i'm considering it, not sure who else is though. how long is the ride? i'm a bit limited on time... :? and i'll have to ride it on my hardtail cos my shifter is fooked on my full suss :shock:

hi guys sorry i been a bit quiet i been flat out.

cant make this sat/sun cos im working. def up for something next week tho.

i took the zesty to cwmcarn on mon str8 off nights then back home, then back to work for the second night..........just short of 75k altogether :shock:

The ride is about 20 miles and takes about 3 hours.
Seeing as so many of the group wont be out I think its best if we give it a miss.
Think I'm going to head off down to Afan instead

Go no where near Don Skene if it can be avoided, never known a shop give so much spiel of little value adn rip me off on parts so badly.

Sorry I won't be out this weekend, I'm ont' p1ss tomorrow night and tbh I'm feeling rather rough :x dammit, been looking forward to this Sat night for about 2 months, the day before I wake up with a sore throat and temprature - &$*£*%^ typical!

Allways found Skenes ok, managed to get an Ignitor tyre off them for £10 called in today window shopping lads real helpfull and friendly like the look of the Fox Flux lid.
