Ridden quite a lot around bryn and goytre (my old man has a farm in Bryn) is it Penhydd trail you mean or do you mean an unoffical one?

The july trail is a much shorter version of skyline, all the downs very few ups in comparison. Though I am always happy to do whites as I love it, or the wall if you fancy something shorter.

Pleasure to meet you, and on a day like yesterday it's all about getting out on the bike.

What's more, went back up to top of mountain to get some wimberries and now got a lovely tart. Which also means I'll have to go back out on bike tomorrow in order to burn off the calories and so it goes on

Catch you again some time

I've not been riding too long myself but I go out a fair bit with 'Underdog'. Last few times I have come off at some point coming down 'Whites trail'. My own fault for pretending I know what Im doing. As soon as the new front wheel arrives I will be happy to hook up with some of you folk. I'm in Bridgend.

See I just don't get the wall, done it twice now and both times I wished I had done whites, but most people I speak to prefer the wall, I must just be odd

I really fancy skyline just to say I done it, or July if I am pushed for time and the if the misses behaves this week, I'm off Sat as I know weekends are best for you.

I done W2 last week that was hard going alone.

    Oh Hai!

Just found this thread. Live in Barry, work in Cardiff so Cwmcarn and Afan are both within spitting distance. I'm up for riding either centre. If it's mid-week then I'd need a few day's (or a week's) notice to book the time off work.

I'll have a looksee at the FB group and join.

I am happy to do an early one Sat with the disclaimer of if Jo goes into labour I best make an effort to be at the hospital with her rather than out on the bike.

It's going to be too close to misses due date and too far a distance to make a quick run to hospital for me sadly Kev or I'd love to have joined you.

Hi all from the Rhondda myself Porth, got no transport, but if someone is close or neer by and don't mind swinging by will chuck a couple quid your way for fuel. in the middle of afan and cwmcarn. Trehafod foresty my usual little run, met a few lads the other week and then met up with them at there local run Smilog "Llantrisant" forestry last Thursday. some nice riding over there and the place is buzzing with MTBers busy little spot, Tue, Thur and Sat at 6pm. anyone local to us pop over have a go. just get chating to the locals and tag along they will show you the routes.
here are some of the down sections as the ups are no fun lol. ps. little slow was my first time :)

I would prefer skyline but depending on the weather. Forcast is predicting a better day for saturday out of the weekend.
