    I reckon this stage might just turn out to be anti-climatic. Leaky-gas all together at front on descent, Basso to extend lead in GC on final climb??

    The Cima Coppi prize is a fair amount of euros and Tschopp is not likely getting a huge salary. Maybe he is also schopping for a place on BMC given his Swiss nationality.

    I can't wait until BMC bring out the black and white kits - these red ones are awful.

    I had a feeling it might. Dull. Nobody prepared to risk it. Too many Liquigas spoil the broth.

    I often wish they had a moto with the guys all the way behind, the grupetto etc. It would be another interesting view of the race.

    Well, I'd hardly call this stage animated.
    65kms of climbing, but other than the first climb, under a 6% average.
    Diesel attrition.
    Maybe something will happen in the last 7kms........
