And you only have to go back to a few pages to find this gem from Mr Saddles:

"No need for a stage 2 spoiler.
TV coverage cancelled due to a bit of rain.
4 Grand Tour? 1 Grand Farce more like."

I guess it happens to GTs as well as to American chippers.... :D

Vinokourov (AST), Tschopp (BTL), Sastre (CTT), Lloyd (OLO), Moncoutie (COF), Simoni (LAM), Pinotti (THR) are now the only riders left in the first chase group. The rest of the riders have all been dropped.

They go to live pictures and then they switch to the tennis - typical. I guess I am watching in Italian then!

while we wait, I have a question about the gavia. climbbybike says lots of it is unpaved. is that still true?

For all those shouting at Eurosport, there's nothing to see really - apart from packs of snow on the Gavia

WTF is this sh1t on Eurosport now? I'd rather watch repeated footage than the sh1t that is on now.

The Giro is supposed to be on Eurosport 2 til 1630 and it's gone off an hour early.

    WTF

Moncoutié and Simoni are 11km from the top. The hard part of the climb is now starting. Pirazzi, Vino and Sastre caught by group Basso....

Looked like Super bikes to me.

Anyway Eurosport still has a "live" feed but there is no commentary.

If you're relying on Eurosport for the Giro today and tomorrow on International then don't : Handball tomorrow too. Switch across to RAI if you can if you need TV pictures.

There are still no live pictures, so there's no point complaining.

To be fair on this occasion it's not Eurosports fault, so frustrating though!!
