    That last KM is BRUTAL. Sastre looked ok at 700m, at 500m it was getting tough at 250m he looked near dead.

    great. Evans pulls Basso back to 42 seconds on GC...Evans could take pink in the 10 mile TT final stage...this is 1989 TDF scenario maybe...hope so

    Except for Sastre whho got knocked out. Sastre was 50-odd seconds behind Basso before today. now minutes out.

    I know it's been said before but what a Giro this is turning out to be, could even come down to time bonuses on the last two uphill finishes if they are selective enough.
