Had a reply saying explanation accepted but his team will "keep a close eye on us"

Looks like it is game on now :-)

For those on twitter I'm thinking of using the #tflscr hashtag for any related tweets :-)
I'm sorry but he is a dumbass. The only points you see are for the 'points leaders' in each team. i.e. the top five.

Tell him you'll be keeping a distant eye on his team over your shoulder as we crest the horizon towards the winning line.

I've just received a rather nice e-mail from a chap in the LSE questioning our mileage!!
638 miles between 5 of you in one day?

    Unlikely.

I won't publish the name as that's hardly fair but we're only on day 2 and we're already causing some hate.

Name and shame I want to see the loser

I log mine if it's not raining on cycle meter (like last night) so can produce csv files etc, sounds like sour grapes to me as they see us disapearing over the horizon

Looking on the team page we have 1965 points with 804 miles, yet when you check the leaderboard we have 854 points and 804 miles??

The shame of it, Cafewanda has clocked up more miles than myself today  Don't let this happen too often please
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

My legs are OK, it's the man flu aka cold virus that is living in my lungs at the mo that is hurting. Might try a flatter 10 miles in the morning

    +1. Welcome aboard!

I got good news from the LBS today- Jetstream ready- so I'll be back getting the miles in tomorrow. Actually, two loads of good news- Viner's gone to the factory, could be done in two or three weeks :) And n+1 should get built up next week (even after that good news, I think having another road bike's the right idea, just in case....!).

We are seriously applying a hurting :-) I reckon we'll easily clear 1K miles tomorrow :-)

It really is amazing how quickly all those journeys add up amongst a group!

I reckon we have room for another 6 people to bring the team size upto 50, don't really want to go higher as then we end up in the next catergory with teams potentially twice our size and it is rather nice being the "alpha male" team

I duly downloaded the team stats

Anyway you can publish that for our team on the internet somewhere? Not that I'm competitive or anything, no.

I am off for two days but will do a 32 miler on friday.

I still can't believe the points the two top people have on that other team though, are they on the bike 24 hours a day or using turbo miles hmmmm...
  • Hi all, I won't have many miles to add, but we only have to win by one...

Mr. Team Manager Sir..... eligibility question.

I go to a London office at least once a week, and do cycle as part of that commute.
Does that make me eligible (and I can then log my out-of-town miles too....) ?

yes all june miles count if some of them are in london

I was supposed to get into work early today, but the weather was great so I kept riding and went to Canary Wharf and back. I'm out at lunch for 17ish miles and then the long way home.

I expect to be tired tomorrow

    we have competition from yacf...
