    Now about 100 ahead :-(
I've just updated the team stats spreadsheet and had a look at UBS - they have over 20 extra members over us which means we need EVERYONE logging miles :-)
I appreciate we had half term last week so those members with kiddies may have been off commuting and some are tapering for various big rides but there are a few riders that I'm fairly certain are still cycle-commuting but not logging miles.
At present we have yet to see any mileage from the following:
    Wrath Rob
    themoodster
    gaz545
    DonDaddyd
    CJ
    Attica
    Goldcrank
    josh
    Toby
    AndyB78
    Comfy
    Greasygrinder
    dav3m

If we are going to have a chance at winning this larger category we need all the mileage we can get! I'll give it a day or so before I start sending out PMs. After that I may have to start culling, something I don't really want to do as I'd have thought if you signed up for this you'd log your miles.

I am only doing 100/week so am happy to be culled if there are people doing more. Just drop me a note if it gets to that.

As long as you are logging miles, however little as it all helps, you won't get culled :-)

Apologies; I signed up when there wasn't any mention of it having to be London based  ... I do work in London periodically, but don't cycle there - can I still log my miles?

Something has gone very wrong with the miles logged, we're 500 BEHIND UBS Cycling Club

They have 80 members vs. our 52, asides from that I can only assume as it's a club they might have also have some riders completing the Dragon, another sportive or a club-ride yesterday hence the huge mileage for last week!

Am I the only one looking at the CO2 figures and thinking that it just reiterates how little impact an individual, or reasonably large group of individuals can make to climate change when compared to industry?

By the end of this we, as a group, will have saved about 6 tons of CO2. That's nothing.

Saw rain forecast for this evening, so squeezed in a quick lunchtime 25 miles. Which included an extra lap of the block to make up the 25

Cheers CP - Good advice there :-)

We're currently sitting on 5915.55 and UBS have 6548.97

I've done a quick update on the Team Stats, we are still missing mileage from 8 people who I'm sure could bridge that gap.....PM's are being sent :-)

UBS are getting more points per mile than Team SCR. That means they have a higher percentage of people logging lower mileage than we have seeing as the first 20 miles attracts the most points per mile (70 to be exact). If the people who are currently MIA were to log just 20 miles each (a feat well within their grasp I should think), that would go a long way towards bridging the points gap.

Another way of looking at it - UBS' average miles per member is currently 80. Team SCR is 110 (or 129 if you exclude the people who haven't logged). They are more than likely leading through volume rather than individual effort.

I also looked at ubs it seems the top 2 posted pretty much all their miles in one bounce...

    I maybe wrong though

I take it that the loggin of miles is purley on a trust basis? Wonder how many people are actually logging the miles they actually do or are they logging that extra mile or 10?

I'm so tempted to add the 49 I did right at the very, very begining of June. So close to the begining of June it was classed as 31st May

Not wrong; they logged those miles on the first day and haven't logged any since.
