Those tyres will take a lot of pumping with that.
They only need 36/42 psi, how hard can it be
Have a twin barrel foot pump in the garage for those.
Flexy hose valve pusher dodah on my old Lezyne pump fell out/lost and a new hose was £10, and I bought the roadie high pressure version by mistake. Lezyne micro drive HV was £25 with a halfords discount code, went for the standard one as alot of people said the pressure gauge was next to usless. Thought it was worth the extra £15 for a better pump.0 -
The Foxy doesn't really need it, but just had a decent tax rebate so why the feck not!
All the bits and bobs I need to go 11 speed Hopefully should be here for the weekend!0 -
You had some info on the release date for the 11 speed XT? ordered mine in May and as of the beginning of this month CRC still couldn't give me any idea of when I'd get it.0

Madison have all the kit in stock including the 11-42 cassette, seeing as CRC wouldn't get their stuff from Madison for once you're better off buying from elsewhere who actually does things the morally correct way of buying from a distributor and not from the grey market. My guess is Shimano have got peeved with the price war on Shimano and really cracked down on the grey market, meaning people who buy from the dedicated distributor will get it first.0 -
Ordered a new lapierre zesty 427. Can't wait for it to arrive and get out on it0

How is it morally incorrect?
Resale price maintenance is not correct.0 -

The way the likes of chain reaction, wiggle etc buy their shimano stuff especially is questionable in that they skip distribution stage in order to buy at lower prices thus driving prices down. The fact is in doing so it makes competing almost impossible. I work in a reasonably big bike shop and the fact we have to sell ALL our Shimano products at pretty much cost price or some cases even at a loss means there is something seriously wrong. I'm all for folks getting the best deal they can but what we've ended up with is a monopoly controlled by 2, maybe 3 players and it makes it incredibly difficult for many to get by and rely on other sources of income to survive. Quite frankly I'm glad to hear people are struggling to get stuff from CRC for me that's a sign things are moving in the right direction.0 -
People who know how to fit things and what they are after buy from the Internet.
If I walk into all my LBSs I know I'll not be able to get what I specifically want. On the internet I can.
It's the way of the world, bricks and mortar adapt and find ways of generating value added services or go under. striping back the market so only the strongest survive, it's the most efficient way to do things.0 -

I'm all for supporting my LBS but buying from them would of cost me considerably more than it has and with a family to support and mid way through buying a new house, saving a little bit of money is the priority. I can wait a while longer if needs be.0 -
All the bits i need to make a new bike:
Frameset
Wheels
tyres
Post, Shifter, mech, chain, missing links, tubes, pump,
Oh and a bleed kit that i dont actually need as Rockshox have supplied one in the box even though CRC said it wouldnt.0 -
Just walked into my old LBS in Aber, Summit Cycles and was amazed to find a 27.5 snakeskin Magic Mary on the shelf, so having looked everywhere for months I snapped it up while I could. Also treated myself to some Fox Reflex gloves, they've got gel in the palm but seem pretty damn comfy and kinda match the Foxy so I'll give them a go and see how I got on with them.0

I made some drunken purchases last night of pedals and grips from mooves components who are doing free grips with every pedal purchase0

50mm Pro FRS Stem for the Trance, fancied something a little shorter than the current 70mm one.0

HAHA!
I was hoping you'd see this.
I figured for the low price (40 something quid) for the helemt id be better off with an actuall FF and this has reviewed well. plus, for what its worth, i think it looks pretty good.
The fact that the gloves kind of match is a happy coincidence as i had already hit buy it now before our discussions.
The goggles i went for as i had read a review about the O Frame Goggles fitting well with the comp helmet and for the price they seemed a good option.0 -
£40 for the lid is an absolute steal. 661 make some good stuff and its what I use for my main bit of body armour. Main thing on the goggles apart from fit is not steaming up and I know my Oakleys are fine on that front."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." Dear Sirs, I have bought some goods from bike-components.de on August, 05, 2015. But they didn`t delivery me the parcel and lost it (DHL confirmed some parcels missing). As the result, till the moment (one month has past), I have no money, no goods. Talked with operators (Tim, Ferdinand, Jean), but no any results. Shop managers contact they didn`t provide. May I ask your help, please, how can I refund my money? Thanks in advance, Yury.0

this has arrived. its very cool but i have a quick question ref fit.
It is comfortable once on with a nice close fit all round and my ears arent bent over or pressed in anywhere. there are no pressure points on my head when worn but my big fat (face) cheeks are pressed in a little bit (but not too much) i can talk and breath in it and i think everything is ok.
it is agony putting on and off though, it is a right squeeze to get all of my brains in and out of it, is this normal?0 -
Some motorbike helmets are like that to get on, just means they have a small hole you are struggling to get your fat head through. Squishing your cheeks is normal for a new full face motorbike lid.0
