My payslip just arrived from uni for some lambing I did a while back, they're so sodding disorganised but I'm finally getting some money... looks like I might be posting here a fair bit on Friday0

Couldn't get a voucher for them, but I did get some cashback, so all in all, a win.
Angrybird - Nice!It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Just finished ordering a full 11 speed XT drivetrain, the British cycling 10% discount at CRC this month has come in handy.0

Today involved lots of spendy spendy, sadly some of it is more roadie stuff but I got myself a new saddle for the new bike, I'm not willing to try and get used to the one it came with, much rather just use the same one on all my bikes.
In black, because white would just be stupid.
Plus, some new Oakleys as I managed to snap my other sunnies last week and I'm sick of riding around with electrical tape holding them together. They're quite bright but I like it because it'll cheer me up when I'm on the roadie and not enjoying myself.
Then there was a jacket, and some other little bits and bobs. This is what happens when someone who isn't used to having any money at all suddenly gets paid a (long overdue) and frankly ridiculous sum for work they did months ago.
I dread to think what will happen when I start getting paid on a regular basis :shock:0 -

Nice! That's next on my list0 -
I've had the 200 for the last year, it's good but I like the idea of the maps and Bluetooth etc0
-
It's the maps I want mostly, plus one of the buttons on my 500 hardly ever works annoyingly so that's reason enough for me to spend some money0
-
I was watching on eBay but they go for nearly new money, I got it cheaper on bike discount than what they were going for without all the cadence sensor and stuff.0

With the Garmin you need to change some settings if you're using the maps off road. In spite of uploading the GPX for the L2B off road it kept trying to guide me back to a road so I had to turn off the routing. I really should have checked before doing the ride but it had worked on my ride to work. Unfortunately I can't remember where I found the settings to change.0

Excellent cheers for the tip, don't want to be doing the Crudcatcher c2c on the road while everyone else is offroad lol0

Another pressure barrel for the home brew. Got Woodfordes Wherry conditioning at the moment (my first kit) and have a Smugglers ale kit to do so I can have two barrels on the go. That way I can have one for drinking while the other barrel is conditioning0 -
DT Swiss FR600 rim to replace the one I pringled - decided I need a spare set of DH wheels now that I have some Deemaxes on The Panzer.
