Time will tell, Good thing is they don't take money until dispatch.

I'd probably still rent one of their bikes Stevo, Saves me nailing my own. Ps does the places not have a jet wash? I appreciate the dangers of a jet wash, but christ the one at Degla is handy on those grim days
It's got one but not free. I'm thinking of investing in a portable washer as the bike does finish the day a good kilo or so heavier than it started in winter time.
Got one. And it works really well.

I've had various exotic materials through the years... Magnesium, Scandium, Titanium, etc.

But I've just ordered my first bit of biking carbon:

A set of Marzocchi 55CRs. I love Marzocchi's small bump sensitivity and their mid stroke fluidity and couldn't care that they're normally 100 or 200g heavier. Very much looking forward to tuning them in.

Good call. I've got exactly the same one and I like it a lot. Sizing was a bit funny though, I needed a large and I'm a medium in any other lid.

Ate you saying order a size up?

Cause I'm on the cusp of XL and XXL

Yep. If you are borderline go for the XXL I did a search on it after I saw some feedback on the CRC website and pretty much everyone was saying the same thing. The large is just right for me and I only have a 59cm bonce.

Balls. I went for the XL. My huge head is around 61cm so might be a bit on the tight side

Your head size is in the middle of the XL sizing on the TLD web site. My 59cm bonce is at the upper end of large and fine. I think they just have an odd sizing classification.

Fancied a change from the Foxy, awesome as it is I just don't ride the terrain that warrants a bike with 160mm and a wheelbase longer than most DH bikes! Gone for something that (hopefully!) is a bit more agile and XC feeling, I did contemplate a short travel 29er, like a Transition Smuggler but rode the 2016 version of the below a few months back and loved it. In true style for me there's a bit of a wait on this one, but after the Genesis debacle I'm used to waiting for bikes these days!

    Giant Trance 27.5 2.
Only popped in to the shop to get a price for a new set of wheels but couldn't refuse a healthy discount on an end of line 2016 model. :D

Hopefully picking it up on the weekend after the brakes are changed to XT and the tyres changed to tubeless Nobby Nic EVO.
