A few bits of stuff for the communter, which is 5 years old this week. Aww.
    - Cateye EL-135 3 LED front light
    - Oxford Skeleton light (sticks onto helmet as emergency front light)
    - Lizard Skins Logo grips
    - Shimano 105 5700 10sp cassette
    - Shimano 105 5700 chain

And a Muckynutz XL fender for The Panzer now we're getting into the muddy season.

A2Z front hub, pair of Stans Alpine rims, some alloy DT swiss alloy nipples (plus 4 in blue to highlight the valve (tarty eh) and some Sapim race spokes....first wheel build when I get back from work trip.

Just need the rear hub and spokes to complete the set. Spend so far is £95.60 so doing well, on current plans the rear will cost another £63 (could do it for £18 less) using a Novatec rear hub. All new parts.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

You now need to grow a beard before you can ride that!

Just bought a badly listed rear set of M785 brakes for £11.60 off the fleabag......also bought an M985 lever with a leak, so hope to cure the leak and use or upgrade the 785 lever with some of the 985 bits, Shimano docs don't say the actual lever part is interchangeable but I'll give it a go as it looks very similar.

  • Is a beard a roadie stereotype? I thought that was a fixie hipster thing?

I actually need to grow. Just in general. Its a larger frame than id like, but then again i used to ride an oversize Raleigh when i was 14-15.

In comparison to my other Raleigh

Whats the honey JD like? Was tempted, but it seems like more of a liqueur?
  • I too, am interested to hear the results of this.

Its more like a liqueur than normal JD but I can drink this neat over ice which I can't with the normal stuff. Really smooth and great if you have a cold/man flu. Well worth a try especially at £15, seems to get alot of good reviews.

Easton grips - thick in black

Hope BB bearings, since my functioning Hope BB was on the Demo when it got nicked. I have a red one from my Scott that ill strip the anodise off and replace the bearings in for Tracey.

MRP G2 Mini chain guide - ive had it with NW chainrings. They work great until they start to wear, then they are no different from ordinary chain rings. Even with the Bionicon chain guide i was losing my chain 2-3 times per ride. Seems that MRP produce a guide for VPP frames, so that's on its way.

Endura MT500 gloves - to replace the ones that got wrecked when i broke my wrist

Lastly, got NLdesigns working on some custom decals for Tracey. Should get the designs in the next week or so.

Not really ordered but purchased through work...

    Giro_Terraduro_black.jpg

GIro Terraduro's, fancied trying an alternative to AM45's and these seemed to fit the bill nicely

A small fox hydration pack for quick rides when my EVOC is overkill

    0042148_fox_launch_enduro_knee_pad.jpeg

A spare set of Fox Launch Enduro knee pads, loved my first pair so got another set just in case I need them, had too many rides where my pads are still soaked from the day before!

    GoPro-Dual-Battery-Charger-500x500.jpg

Go Pro dual charger and a spare battery, gives me more filming time as its run out on a few occasions recently.

Not yet ordered but I'm awfully tempted by Fox's new Cold Weather range, the Jackets and shorts are incredible quality and mega comfy, will have to wait until next pay day though :( Also in the process of arranging a demo Mondraker Foxy Carbon for a weekend, can't wait to get it sorted! :D

I moved office recently so have just bought a Cube Hyde Race 2014 for the commute as I can't handle the bus...

    638003_light.jpg

    link

I got it for less than 1/2 RRP and has only seen ~10 miles use. Should be here this week :)

Also bought a Charge Spoon, ODI Vans Waffle lock-on grips and Lezyne Femto lights for it. Needs some carbon bars and a Thomson stem too I reckon.
