    Time for a T rex?

Do it!! I'm loving mine, shifts so nicely, can hardly tell the difference in shift quality between the Ibis with the t-rex and 16t cog and the Cotic with a standard XT cassette. Both use the same shifter and mech and I can't imagine xtr cassettes are much smoother than xt so I'd have to say the t-rex must work really well. I'm loving the extra range, I had to push a small section in the peaks t'other week but then everyone else who had granny rings were pushing too! Expensive for what it is but definitely, definitely worth it.

Yeah 1 thing I find is the steep climbs can be a bit tough!
What do I need then? Just the t-rex?

Id be tempted to try and track down a 16t or tbh try the one up 16/42t cogs and get their RAD cage, heard good things so far. I might buy a RAD cage just to try out, see if it makes things even smoother with the T-rex

Got the wolftooth 42t running on x9 clutch on 2 bikes, they both work perfectly, very smooth, set up was quick using standard B screw, didn't even need the full adjustment to get it set right. Got 11 speed on my race bike, don't think i'd bother again though as 1 x 10 with the adapter is a very good compromise - and its lighter!
A berm? were you expecting one?

Payday has finally arrived so been on a bit of spending spree!

Found a few great deals on Fox clothing so added a few more bits to my wardrobe. Always been well impressed with their stuff and recently bought some Ranger gloves and Indicator shorts which are really good, so thought I'd get a few more bits and bobs.

    fox-racing-attack-q4-shorts.jpg

Was gonna get another pair of Indicators but found these black Attack Q4 shorts for less even with the Evo liner so would be rude not too!

Another pair of Ranger gloves, look great and they feel super comfy so will now have two pairs so should last me a fair while. The cuff strap looks and feels a lot tougher than the ones on my current Demo gloves so they should fall off like my demo's have.

Short and long sleeve Indicator Jerseys, tried the short sleeve on a few weeks ago and felt really nice found an awesome deal on both, needed a new long sleeve jersey as my Royal jersey from 2008ish is looking its age these days!

Also got some Fox socks also in black because, well, I didn't have any  Going for the full factory #Enduro look!

Finally after being tempted by the Northern Monkey's recent purchase one of these -

    rock-razor-schwalbe-super-gravity.jpg

    in pace star snakeskin flavour.

As is typical in Britain I've bought a semi slick tyre and almost precisely on cue it's pissed it down!

Good choice, I got some more PB's today... rolls sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast. Very very good on dry roots.
Found its limit on a steep and very loose climb this afternoon, but most tyres would struggle and I was being lazy so alls good!

Where did you get the fox stuff? I needs a new jersey and desperately need gloves!

Good to hear you're liking the Rock Razors! I can't wait to try it out. Got the fox stuff from various places, the offical Fox head UK shop have a few sale items atm as do Tweeks Cycles. CRC have some good deals as well if they have your size in stock.

Pay day equals new pair of baggies, 40% off at Evans (£32.99 inc under short) on these so silly not too! Not had any of this brand before (One Industries) so will see how they compare.

Not ordered but been in to an actual shop and bought a couple of tyres. Spec Purgatory and Ground Control for the Soul, as the rear is shagged and thought I'd try something new on the front. Both in Grid 2Bliss flavour. First ever tyres that aren't Schwalbe.

After a thoroughly enjoyable day at BPW, decided that my current bike (C'dale RZ120) was not man enough for the job so this should be just the ticket. £1900 with 0% finance seals the deal ! Also ordered a set of Shimano deore M615 brakes as I hate the sight of Avid Elixirs, and I shall be swapping the XT transmission and expander sproket from the C'dale.

Shame my riding group have just entered the 55 mile Madorc sportive and this will be my only bike

The only rescue club you need Andy is one round the back of the head to knock that golf shit out of you....

Probably should have ordered the frame first, but these were heavily discounted.
