Other than the strap around the stem, whats to stop that swaying/falling from side to side, especially with the weight of a 4x 18650 battery pack.0

I can't see it being an issue. The battery pack isn't that heavy and will be at the front end near the stem.
It was considered before I bought it. I'm also stupidly doing a triathlon next year so if it doesn't work I've got a feed bag0 -

I can answer that as its just turned up, see pics of mount that fits through the vent creating a flat plate to mount to.

OK, Back from a ride over the pump track, I'm not gonna lie to you, its a bit weird.
First thought while riding up there was how good the ventilation was on top of the lid whilst moving, which played with my head a bit because my view was defiantly from a full face.
secondly, I put on my warm jacket to deliberately try and work up a sweat, and threw a few shapes around the pump track for about 15 mins or so. Didn't feel the need to take the lid off at all. I'm not saying its as cool as an open face lid, but its far far better than a full face and not far off a open face.
Thirdly, a 29er is far too big for a BMX track and you can cause yourself a nasty accident if your not carefull.0 -

I was going to transfer the groupset from my Pinnacle onto the new Cotic frame but needed a different front mech, ordered one from CRC. The next day they announce 10% extra off Shimano, a bit irritating. So I look at the website thinking I might phone and see if they'll give me the 10% back. I think I might have to return the mech I ordered as I appear to have ordered full XT transmission in 2x10 flavour. That was careless.0
