Bike discount have them "cheap" at the mo... there are only 2 versions, a pacestar evo protection TLR and a DH casing version - make sure you get the right one as the DH one is more like 1000g!
Should be awesome on the 456!0 -

Time for a T rex?
Do it!! I'm loving mine, shifts so nicely, can hardly tell the difference in shift quality between the Ibis with the t-rex and 16t cog and the Cotic with a standard XT cassette. Both use the same shifter and mech and I can't imagine xtr cassettes are much smoother than xt so I'd have to say the t-rex must work really well. I'm loving the extra range, I had to push a small section in the peaks t'other week but then everyone else who had granny rings were pushing too! Expensive for what it is but definitely, definitely worth it.0 -

Yeah 1 thing I find is the steep climbs can be a bit tough!
What do I need then? Just the t-rex?0 -

Id be tempted to try and track down a 16t or tbh try the one up 16/42t cogs and get their RAD cage, heard good things so far. I might buy a RAD cage just to try out, see if it makes things even smoother with the T-rex0 -
Some inner tubes
Some red Look Keo pedals for the roadie
Some blue loctite
An entry to my first ever sprint triathlon next May. I'm currently 115kg, can't swim properly and can run about 500 metres before I want to stop and die. Still, something to aim for, eh?0
