You're going to think I'm just saying this, but initial impressions are very good indeed. Did a nice 5hr ride today and it was very comfy indeed.
Very very similar to the Spoon it replaces actually, although the cheeky is a bit narrower and I THINK a little less padded (no less comfy though).0 -
Just because sheepsteeth requested it (and nothing to do with the fact I just like taking pics of the bike) here are some pics of her "naked"

Looks a lot nicer naked and that Charge chainstay protector matches perfectly!!!! wont be white for long mind haha!0

I'm sure tightrope walkers use your bars for balance! Looks awesome though, makes me miss my 456!0

Cheers all, I'm very happy with how it's turned out, both looks and the ride.
I think I want some white hoses for the codes, and some straitline levers in orange.
Then I can start saving for the Ti Frame0 -
Just a couple of small editions today

TAAAAARRRTTTT
Lovely CWNT -love those bolts/caps - where did you get them from?
8)0 -
Coming from you I'll take that as a massive compliment
Got them from a guy on ebay in Taiwan
http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/simplicity-cycle
Had a few things off him before and he's fast with delivery.
Cost about £8 delivered altogether and I got a headset bolt, 2 sets of bottlecage bolts and a set of presta dust caps.
They also do all sorts of different colours0 -
-
They really finish it off nice, so much so I have bookmarked the site!!!0

Its Crying out for some Orange Chainring bolts!! 8)
have a nose at HEL cables for the brake lines! they do a white braided brake line kit for mtb iirc. http://helperformance.com/mountain-bike/ - friend that works for Propel importers was commenting on how many hose replacements he was doing on the formula brakes with the HEL white kits.Timmo.

Orange chainring bolts are a no-no I'm afraid. Nobody makes orange bolts that exactly match the orange RaceFace use, so they'd just look poo.
As for white brake lines, I do want some, but I've been having trouble sourcing new kits for the Code brakes and I'm not sure about re-using olives and stuff from the lines on there at the moment. Those HEL ones look like they might do the trick cheers I'll look into it.
Oh, and I also want some Orange Straitline levers :oops:0 -
I want red straitline levers for the xt brakes on mine
Expensive though eh!
I've emailed that guy about on ebay about the bottle cage bolts... I want 10 but he only does packs of 4 lol!
Love the pike decals!0 -

Looking good that CWNT! Is that what you're thinking of bringing over to BR Live? If so, that's not going on my car next to my POS! Actually I'll hide my bike, that'll make me look cool 8)It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.
Join us on UK-MTB we won't bite, but bring cake!
Blender Cube AMS Pro0 -
lmfao!
Yes, that's what I'm hoping to bring over.
It's not what you ride, it's how you ride it. I will be quickly found out as the guy on the shiny bike that cant ride for toffee. . What bike do you have anyway? I dont think I remember you ever saying. Where is your thread man, everyone needs a thread.
Oh by the way thekickingmule did you see the article on the main page about the demo tracks they're building at BRL? Read it the other day and they look SWEET!
http://www.bikeradar.com/news/article/m ... live-25713
I checked and YES, we're allowed to ride them on our own bikes if we want to.
I'm so freckin excited now!0 -
I would love to bring mine, but I think I shall mostly be drinking without ANY riding done
Well, me AND sheeps will0 -
So long as you're not TOO wrecked, you can borrow the chocolate orange for a quick lap if you want.0

So I think many beers shall flow!!!0 -
Gits, I'm going with a mate on the Sunday, but as he doesn't drive i shall be the sober one of us! Hadn't considered taking the bikes, although I'd be constantly going back to the car in fear of it being robbed when it wasn't with me.0

Just keep it with you then. The lockup areas are apparently VERY secure. Obviously, bike security at a bike event is something they'll have put a lot of thought into
mrfmilo - Dunno, guess it's up to you. I think they are building tracks down there so that every kind of bike is catered for. I'll be doing the Hot lap and the XC race on my 456. Not expecting to win it, but it should be a good laugh.
Remember though, all the big manufacturers will be there with Demo bikes too, so if you want to get a ride in, you can always borrow one of the demo bikes.0 -

I think he has to be over 16 to qualify for demoing/hiring :?0
