Caz......do you really wanna go cannock ??

I can pick you up if you wanno go .......

Ta hun, i would love to go, but Richie will have only just had his of that week, I don't really want to leave him too long.

The trail in my local woods opens on the 15th May so I'll go thrash myself on that one instead.

After our ride yesterday at Cannock a few questions have popped into my head about what would make the best ride

    1) Do people want to do the whole of ftd and the monkey or just the monkey and the last section of ftd (that bit carnt be missed)

My reasoning was that the stuff on the north of the chase is far better than ftd but that could be that ive ridden ftd so many times its lost its appeal

    2) Now it might be best to move the cars half way through the day (im playing with this idea at the moment) mainly to miss out a mahooosive hill climb that is truly tiring

    3) Are people ok paying for parking at £3

    4) The BBQ ive spoken to the woman at springslade and she says the price will depend on how many of us are going and what we want. She says we can have stuff like steak and chicken with fresh handmade salad or burgers and hotdogs. Also if we go down the path of having it prepared for us there are only two time options available 5pm when the chiefs still in the cafe or 8pm when she had finished with her other business

Or we could just make our own have what we want when we want

Cool vids phoebian..........the fall on the first vid obviously gave you some 'experience'.....as on the other vids you were a bit more cautious of the dry conditions.

Very good runs though......can't wait to go myself complete with knee pads....but considering my rattly experience of llandegla using the nobby nics i think a slight drop in air pressure will be required otherwise i may be joining you on the statistics for bailing and cursing..........''

There's a big pond at the bottom of one of the trails, if you slip off then you will probably keep tumbling down the hill into it lol. Not recommended :)

You can probably see it in on of the videos.

Maybe phoebian can answer the question no 1) if he did both trails what would be his reccs........how long are each trail ?

    Question 3) I don't mind paying £3 parking.......

Question 4) depending on how long it will take us to do the intended routes will probs decide this answer......maybe if we can't or won't make the 5pm slot then a self barbie may be in order.

    Ok you guys......your turn...

There are some really boring sections on ftd which could be missed. The one that goes past marquis drive for example. I enjoyed the majority of the new stuff my only concern was how loose the ground was, but with it being a new trail and the recent dry weather I guess it's expected. Also I got bored fast with the amount of climbs there were but the descents are excellent.
