 How big are they ! but if they are anything like the light I got from DX then they will be bright !

Hey Maloo....is this the one you got ?

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25149

If so how is it.......i believe it comes with a u.s. plug......how did you get round that ?

    Can you recommend ??

Yeah thats he one, its cheap and does the job. Some people have had problems with them and the chargers. My charger stopped working so I had to order another charger from a site in the US but I ordered a spare battery at the same time so I could have enough battery to last a 24hr race. Batterys last about 3hrs on full :D

Whats it like in comparison to a hope vision one (i have one of these)

i got a hope vision one as well and he DX light is much brighter. I usually ride with the DX light on my bars and the hope one on my helmet and that combo is much brighter than the Hope 2 Light that my friends have.

What have i let myself in for :o

Oh dear Mick......i have just had a look at the hill you have to climb, Moel Famau on google earth 3d.........''

Having said that i might join you...........''

Are you thinking of staying overnight or a day trip ??

i'm thinking of staying over night but might consider a day trip

OK mick your'e on...i'll join you in the shorty, after all when we did the peaks ride we climbed 2 hills both over 1000ft so i guess this shorty can't be all that bad and i'm already better at climbing now than i was then.

I wonder if anyone else in our group would fancy doing it ??

    Cue people.........?????
I think Caz is going to join me as she's doing the Grassington one

Been lurking for a good while, so time to say hello....
Interested in some of the rides, especially the Peak ones, as thats where I do the majority of my riding...
Ladybower loop is always good, and with Whinstone Lee torr now dry even more fun! Last rocky drop behind the pub is a right laugh! 8)
Jacobs ladder starting from Barber booth near Edale is a cracking route, 15 miles but touggh and some proper challenges on the downs....
Caz, if you do go the NFT, do some of the natural stuff in the forest, sooooo much better than the NFt alone!

On that note, if anyone would like a ride on the NFt and natural I'd be happy to show folks what I know, IIRC its a 13 miler with some brilliant descents.
    My Pics !

    Haha, fair enough! :)
There is a hell of a lot of stuff worth riding in the forest, the route we have starts in Hawkshead, (park on the school playground) up into the NFT, last few bits of the NFT, and down to the VC.
Then on up the first climb if you were doing just the NFT, IIRC 2 more bits and then the rest is all bridleways. 8) 8)
Very very good ride, and one I dont do often enough TBH... Also need to do some more exploring up there, as I reckon we're only scratching the surface of whats legally ridable...
    My Pics !
