Sayin that I must be the only person to have gone down that downhill course with their brakes on all the way, if I'd had a camera it would have been like slowmo! Long live XC!
How's the riding at Delamere? Worth a 90 mile drive?
Chesh, thanks to a 10 month old son who's teething and our mates at youtube I found this at this ungodly hour, the first hill in the vid is the one I finally had the balls to do. As I said probably not worth a 90 mile drive, but if you were ever in the area it's worth a visit. The've got a Go Ape as well if ou crash.

Just like to say if anyones not been Kirroughtree then you have to put it on your list of ones to do 8)0

I prefer from Tackeroo campsite all the way to the Birches valley visitors center. Fast, flowing and requires big balls in the right bits. Perfect!!!
Although the lower cliff descent is excellent you can get some wicked air on some of those little kickers. A bit too much sometimes but whats a descent without scaring the crap outta yourself4 wheels bad
2 wheels good
1 wheel for fun0 -

Hi maloo have you been around Glentress just wonded how they compared, I rode that a few weeks ago and the downhill parts were amazing smooth and fast flowing , not too struck on the hike up to spooky woods0 -
nope not managed Glentress yet, its on my list for the summer though0
-
will have to try and get over to Kirroughtree maybe sqeeze it in around some work up that way. It was highly rated in one of the MTB mags recently, is it far off the M74?0
-
its about 1hr 30 mins from the M74 , but its worth the journey0
-
Looks like a late night getting in from work then, I do alot of work around Glasgow so could in effect go there on the way back to Leeds0
-
Mmmmmm I was supposed to be going to Glentress in May or June, but coz of ichie being butchered in May, we've had to put it back a few months....might try for July. August if I survive the MTB Marathon In July

Cheshley,
Hang on I'll send you a linkypoo to my Club..........the club has been pushing for better biking round here and as you know, we have the trail being built in the local woods.
You need to chat to Bill Ould on there,he's the one who's done a lot of the campaining for Blackburns things.
