Too late chuck, I already carry one.

although I've carried the same one for the last 6 years so anything with an expiry date on it will need replacing

If you're goin tubeless don't forget yer sealant and a compressed air canister, if yer tyre 'burps' an you lose air it's a b#@*ard pumpin' em up with an ordinary handpump !!!!!

Should take about 2 hours max to get there.

Postcode of the visitor's centre is S33 0AQ but if you type that into Google it puts you on the other side of the reservoir!!! Just make sure that when you turn off the A57 you're heading up the West side.

I can't speak for anyone else, I don't mind getting a bit wet but if it's coming own sideways in a force 6 gale I'll be staying in bed. I'll be checking the forecast up until the day before.

Might tag along for this, weather dependant - would be interested if you do any further rides in the future too

Just to note, if you want free parking I would get there around 9am. After that the free spots go pretty quickly, especially if its likely to be a nice day.

This ride sounds like it will be really great.
Unfortunately i won't be able to make it
It would have been nice to ride out with other people and see some new places and routes.
If another ride is organised i'll try and come to that!

I'll bring my camera. Should get my new Camelbak this week so will have the space. Someone may need to borrow it unless you just want pics of you all from the bottom of the hills
