btw lovin ya pink bits Caz

Have I stumbled onto the 'readers wives' forum by mistake....?

Don't worry about the route Frostys, padding up is probably a bit of overkill but some of us just feel safer having them and not needing to rather than coming off and then wishing we had worn them. Really looking forward to this, just hope the weather doesn't spoil it.

Are you a proper girly girl then Caz?

Map???? aren't you going to ride the course first and place waymarkers at the correct points and where have you arranged for the refreshments to meet us??

Or shall I bring my map/compass and make sure I have a full camlebak and a Mrs Miggins pie in there just for good measure? (might even sneak and extra large bag of Haribo in there too)

Guys, it's a few miles around the Peak District, you're not attempting the coast to coast in a day!!!!!

Light breakfast, isotonic mix in the Camelbak and maybe a banana or two to munch on the way round.

    sorted.

...that would take you up to lunchtime (if you missed out on some of the 'ride' bits) which frankly appear to be more than a little repetitive. :?

Oh hell, what have i missed out on over the last few days? Pies, Haribo's, Full body armour,
Bubble wrap, and god knows what else,

With 28 riders with bikes and all this kit i think i'll have to bring my coach,... Chesley do you think my coach will make it around the route!!!!!!!

This has got to be the biggest ride organised this side of the universe.

Looks like i'll have to get my website building skills in action after this ride, all those wanting there pics on the site will have to email them to me complete with captions/comments so i can put them in.

A name for us as a group has already been put forward... it's UNFIT KNACKERS ON TOUR!!!!!
If any of you have any suggestions/ ideas hit me with them.

With regard to the large number of us attending this ride i can bring my trusty rottweiler to keep the group together, he can take up the rear and bite the rear of any stragglers!!!!!!

  • Do you really think we can keep up/compete with sparrowlegs in a chat messenger group, after all women are the leaders in this field!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A facebook group may be useful - you can add events and such like.

I'm still unsure which day was decided.. I've gone through all the posts so I must have missed it somewhere.
