rottitera02 yeah from what you linked to I think it should be possible 8)

Also for llandegla a hardtail is perfect, I usually take the hardtail to llandegla instead of the full sus

id say full sus for llandegla unless you want a very bumpy ride

you think so?...i find it smooooth compared to the other trail centres....i found Grizedale bumpier and rockier and Coed Y Brenin is painful hardtail
    Caz x
ive only been to llandegla and cannock trail centres so i carnt compare to anything else, but im biased towards full sus, and i know that if im belting it along those rocky bits near the end im geting lots of frail buzz even on a my enduro

I've only got the hardtail so my butt tells me when it's rocky lol.......I suppose it's what suits you and what you have :D
I can only dream of full bounce :(

  • I've done the Llandegla blue route two and a half times, (once round only) and have been knackered every time, have also found it very bumpy on the hardtail, even when out the saddle, am lookin forward to pickin up some tips from you lot tho.

just take your time and you'll be fine. Nobody is going to say anything if you're at the back and if you are at the back you won't get left behind. I'm just looking forward to riding the places I've wanted to go to for ages but have had nobody to ride with who wouldn't be bored going at my pace.

Getting pretty excited about it, but nowhere near as excited as Caz is

If there weren't already 3 bikes on the roof for this trip, I'd bring the Marin as well and ride both to see which is better. I'll bring the Spesh tho, I can lock the back end so it's almost a hardtail.

Apparently the cafe as previously won the award for the best Bacon Butty in the country, has appeared in the Sunday Times top 50 places to eat and their cakes are the stuff of legend.

Drool Llandegla chips....it's the only thing I can eat after a ride, I usually can't eat after for over an hour, but I can always fit in Deggy chips.

There's tabletop a plenty on the black I think...rollable or jumpable.

there arent any big drop offs, there are a couple of 6inch ones but thats it and all the jumps are rollable, in fact there is nothing that is not rollable, and yes it is more like a red run
the section of red that you miss out if you do that black bit is really nice though very fast and flowing more so than the black

Ride the red with me, I don't go so fast you can't bail out and walk anything you don't like. I am hopelss on a bike and I've ridden the red all the way apart from the double steep climb which not many people can get up, thats a bugger

I think that the majority of us will run the red so that's a good 11 miles and then choose what you want to do afterwards........
