@Sandomingo - why not do what I'm doing, have a go at what you want to do then have an hour on the skills course and then go round again on the Red :)

Yikes, an hour on the skills course then go round again!! I thought you lot were unfit, compared to who the pro's?? Sounds good but i take it it wud be cool if i bail if i'm not up to it? How long would it normally take to do the red route twice and the hour on the course?

I can't bunnyhop and you'll not need to at Llandegla unless there a high stick on the path
I'm on a hardtail too and hardtails are THE bikes to use at Llandegla, they are built for the place :D

your'e not on your own bud i'm hardtail, sos Caz and if you can't bunnyhop you use small obstacles as kickers and jump.....and apart from that you should let the bike move around underneath you sos you don't get a bumpy ride, loose arms and arse off the saddle is the trick.

I have no idea, I'm basing my plans on the comments of my fellow riders who assure me that 2 loops of red is possible for someone of my ability and fitness level. I will hold them completely responsible if I have to wuss out on the second loop and potter around the family loop instead

, there's nothing there that full bounce would benefit you there, Llandegla is like a giant bmx track, nothing rocky as such like the scottish centres or the other welsh ones, there are rocky bits but they are easily rideable with only front bounce, even Rigid singlespeeds go playing at Deggy

Eve Ches, if your rear shock hasn't got lockout then a hardtail is easier for the uphills......

ive only been to llandegla and cannock trail centres so i carnt compare to anything else, but im biased towards full sus, and i know that if im belting it along those rocky bits near the end im geting lots of frail buzz even on a my enduro
