    Hey Guys,

For those that did Cut Gate earlier this year this will bring back memories.

    http://www.pinkbike.com/video/148473/

Roo, this shows the descent to the bottom of Langsett ressie which we didn't do on the day, makes we want to do the return just to do this bit of the descent

Some what incredible but this sort of thing may be going on at Woburn, with the Duke concerned about the risk of litigation when he allows MTB'rs to use Woburn Sands.

Mike maybe when i get back off holiday we could do the bit we missed as i have a route which goes around Langsett taking in the route up we did and back the way we missed it's only 10km but could be cut shorter with the possibility of doing 2 laps

    That's a well put together vid :)

I know nothing about video and uploading but vids loaded on Vimeo seem to be much better viewing quality than You Tube etc.

Its a bit far for a weekend though

Non of the guys in this group are racing whippets my friend.....yes some maybe better than others but the group always stays together and look after one another and wait for the person/s at the rear to catch up......don't forget no-one is the same and there will always be someone at the back.

You are most welcome just like anyone else to come along and ride, if you don't try you won't find out.........the ages are pretty well spread out too 20's,,,30's and 40's.

So do come along you won't regret it .............

Greetings one and all. I'll be away for a week from early tomorrow morning so if there are any questions about next Sunday's ride at Wendover please direct them to Brother Frosty of the Darn S'aarf Chapter. I'll see y'all next weekend (when I will most definitely be the one at the back) :D

    Afternoon everyone...

In Cheshleys absence it falls on me to sort the Wendover run out.

Mark_K has kindly offered to make arrangements at his parents pub for food etc if enough people are interested can we have a show of definate names

The ride start time is now 1100 this is a start time not arrival time aim to be there for 1030. After last weeks pre ride we discovered that parking is free just off the main street behind the library on a Sunday if that car park is full alternative is the Train Station car park. I'm aiming to have the ride wrapped up by 1530.

Ride assembly point will be at the clock tower in the village centre at the bottom of the hill you can't miss it (very tall building with a big clock on it)

For any Northern Monkeys making the trip Darn Saarf please enusre you have the correct paperwork with you ref Visa's appropriate Vaccination Certs etc  and please leave the whippets and ferrets at home

How many riders are we looking at besides moi?

I thought the north started at Watford Gap Roo... Aren't the M1 and M6 cobbled after there?

We have been in Mark's parents place before and the food was very nice proper pub grub.

    Hi Mea00scf

    The basic route is

Wendover Clock tower up the Hale about 2/3rds of the way cutting off onto fireroads and bridleways up to the Cafe in the Woods.. out of the Woods and back onto bridleways to Hastoe and round to St Leonards past Dundridge Manor looping back to the Mobile home park, towards the top of The Hale diving off and down the Ridgeway back to Wendover... Then up Bacombe Lane around the back of Dunsmore to Little Hampden across the top of Low Scrubs to the Monument at the top of Combe Hill for the grand finale down Combe Hill back into Wendover.

The more the merrier come along ya never know you may enjoy it lol
