At the time of getting the diverge (in a 61) I spend a long time talking them through my measurements, and they said it's unlikely to work, but never actually went through the geo's with them as I still don't really understand them, or they effect they have on the ride.

But actually comparing them, as you say - a short seat tube length but very long top tube my 61cm diverge is a HTTL of 589mm, with reach of 397mm) compared to that malt g1's HTTL of 61.5..

I wonder why they told me no?

That almost feels like a misprice - bonkers cheap for a hydraulic group. Less than the rim brake groupset in fact.

Dolan RDX frameset is still £225 incidentally.

Ordered the groupset. Fingers crossed it comes through. Might look to pair it with a canyon ultimate sl disc frameset but just looked and they are £1650. Ouch. Sure they used to be cheaper! But they do come with seatpost and the aero cockpit

Any other similar framesets to the canyon that I should consider?

Apart from the BB being a little loose, you'll need to buy a flat mount adapter from Sigma on Ebay cause the callipes only comes with one postmount adapter for the front brake.

You need your card AND the screenshot\voucher off of the BC webpage now - new one each month I think.
They scan it off of your phone, as opposed to out of their book, not sure how that progresses anything, just for reporting\targeting purposes maybe.

No harm in trying, it sometimes works depending on the staff member. I've got an order to collect from Halfords on Saturday and have a BC card plus another 10% discount code through work plus the balance on a gift card, I can see it being confusing.

My local branch have said that it can be used for any click and collect pickup as long as it's the only discount applied when you pay.
So you can't add discounts together at the till but stuff that is already discounted online is ok for the BC discount to be used.

Of course, that may not be every branch's interpretation but anything else would mean the assistant going through the receipt and checking online discounts applied for each product and doing lots of maths.
Much easier to see the bottom line and apply the BC discount.

So, if I'm right, redvee should be allowed to use only one of your discounts.

Entirely depends on the store.

I have, on more than one occasion, found my two nearest stores to adopt different policies. The one is adamant about only applying one discount, be it a halfords promotion or BC membership, the other are happy to apply the BC discount in addition to any current offer.

No guessing which of the two I go to now?!!

So if your local halfords refuse, try another one.
