Good spot, think that's the first time I've seen a 11 speed .93 below the 10 speed prices.

Now, I think I need a drivetrain upgrade to 11 speed...

Anyway, what with this being the bargain thread - https://www.wiggle.co.uk/shimano-sm-rt81-disc-brake/

£9.99 for a centre lock ice tech 160mm rotor

Nice - I've had to go and check the bike to see if it's centrelock or 6 bolt, as I'd instantly clicked buy as I've got no spares in stock at present.

Turns out I'm 6 bolt... and I'm cancelling the order!

Excellent, bought one for spares. Cheers!

Nice, always good to have a spare

That said, I might just need a new bike to put it on...

4-off bought, it is not as if they are going to go out of date. A true bargain. 8)

To be honest, I've been happy with the SRAM 1110 chains - used them over the winter that's just gone - and they're less than a tenner.

For that money hardly worth cleaning them....

I did buy one of those kmc chains to compare anyway

Those KMC chains are cheap for a reason, they go rusty by looking at them and they don't last anytime at all. I am now using the KMC SL version, managed to get one for £21 not long ago, they last a lot longer and no rust!

IIRC I fitted one of those KMC 11.93 back around October as the first chain replacement on my Cube. Admittedly, the Cube has only done ~1400 miles since then and 95%+ indoors, but it's been fine so far. Tempted to get one or two of from the Amazon bargain posted, but they are only slightly more expensive at PX (£14.99, which could be a way of boosting a basket price to get free postage over £100) and I keep wondering if it's worth trying a more fancy KMC chain given I only do dry miles and right now there is no danger of me exceeding 1000W!

Anyway, a bargain, I've had the 27.2mm version on my Cube for ~9 months and it definitely improved comfort over the stock alloy post...
    Gloss version £50 in both sizes https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/SPSEDEHM/ ... -seat-post

Some decent deals on carbon bars too, starting at £50 for the oversize 35mm clamp Omicron https://www.planetx.co.uk/c/q/component ... price-desc

https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HBSEULTMA ... -handlebar paired with https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/HBSEULTTB ... ension-kit for ~£100 looks interesting. In my younger days, I ran a pair of tri bars with no shifters or brake levers on them, but there's no way I'd risk that now... So how the heck do you set up dual gear and brake on a bike with hydraulic brakes?

I nabbed a couple of the KMC DLC chains when they were on offer - in all honesty not worth it, but I've been happy with it (And the amount I paid) so far, and like you plan to only use for dry miles.

Sportpursuit have Elite Diretos for £460.

Love my Direto still, makes Turbo a pleasure not a chore, definitely rate it as one of my best cycling buys where you quickly forget what you spent and just use it (I spent £650 about 15 months ago).

At this sort of price well worth upgrading from a dumb trainer or even a wheel on smart trainer.

Halfords have price matched other online stores on the Tacx Neo 2 Turbo Trainer at £1006.

They now have an offer for 15% off all cycling accessories and that brings the price down to £855.10.

If they will let you use BC discount on top, makes a £1k bike £765.

The halfords offer also means you can get the elite direto 2 for £467.

Even if the store won't let you use the BC discount on top, order through quidco and you will get 5% back.

    Wrong.
    It's on adult bikes.
Worked on a boardman, not on a Brompton.

For £570 I thought it was finally worth a punt.
Alas, not included in the offer. There's probably not enough profit in them.
