https://www.acycles.co.uk/northwave-rap ... escription £87.13 for "42.5" size (where have they got that size from?)
Suspect they would be a tiny bit too small for my feet that are ~27.3mm long, otherwise I'd be ordering a pair myself.
Supposedly a site wide "cost price" sale on everything until midnight tonight.================

Riding Zwift on rollers is harder than it looks. I had a go with standard rollers and a power meter; everything was going fine until I got to the first bend, at which point I departed the rollers sideways. By the time everything had stopped moving I was lying on the floor, underneath the bicycle, with a chair leg sticking through one wheel...Pannier, 120rpm.0 -

Wheelbase in Staveley and online are selling the Garmin varia radar rear light for £45 something, as in 71% reduction from rrp.
Is that any good?0 -

Probably notI'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -
I've read a lot of people who absolutely swear by them, can't bear to ride without them etc etc, and for that price it's pretty reasonable to be honest.
But rear view mirrors are cheaper and don't need recharging.
I also can't help but feel most of the time it'll pop up and say there's a car behind me and I'll be thinking 'no shit sherlock, it's rush hour, of course there's a car behind me... plenty of cars in front of me too'0 -

If you have a compatible Garmin e.g. 520, 820 or 1000 then probably. It's the cheapest price I've seen for a Radar Varia and by some distance.
I'm not biting, because this model is bulky, ugly and has poor battery life compared to the newer 510 model. That was down to £100 on Black Friday and will probably be there again in January.
But if you just want radar alerts on your Garmin then £50 is a price you're unlikely to see beaten. I can definitely see a use case for it.0 -
I'm not interested (won't work with edge 25) but if anyone is... It is a place to post bargains afterall.0

Thanks, I picked up one last night. I've read good things about them, would prefer the new and smaller unit, but at £50 it's worth a punt even if it's quite bulky0

Half price Boardman jackets, tops, legwear
Bought https://www.halfords.com/cycling/cyclin ... ing-jacket and https://www.halfords.com/cycling/cyclin ... sers-black in a 30% promo a while back, the trousers are excellent (lightweight, insulating yet breathable) and the jacket is good for night visibility (but wear it over a heat wicking top, otherwise you will boil in the bag unless temp is sub 2C).================

DECEXC2069YSSNH was the one they sent me. 10 quid off a £60 spend. Gilet is on there for £65 at present.
If that code is a one time only job and you haven't been sent your own one you can get £10 off a £50 spend with NCV2018 if you set up a new account.0 -

Ha ha, I've had a punt for 2 quid postage. Reminiscent of those Planet X £1 tool bottles a while back that no one actually got. Always Riding staff could be busy tomorrow morning, either packing orders or writing apologetic emails!0 -

I am still not quite sure how but I got three of those tool bottles after an interesting email exchange...!
Largely because they had already taken the money though. So I cant see that happening here as there is no money to take so no contract would be formed!0 -

Well I have received a Paypal receipt for payment but as they don't take the money straight away I'm not sure that constitutes consideration having been given on my part or it's still just at the stage of an invitation to treat having been given by the vendor!0 -

Saved myself the postage cause they don't have my FLATB size listedI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
