The wahoo elemnt (not bolt) is down to £200 again - https://uk.wahoofitness.com/devices/bik ... ter-elemnt

Also same price in a variety of other places.

Bit underwhelming on the bike deals so far today.

Would the bluetooth allow me to use spotify and skip songs on the touchscreen?

Well, it could if someone/you wrote an app to do that.

At present the only Garmin spotify support is to play spotify directly from some garmin watches - https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2018/10/spo ... -know.html

Doesn't work with Edge bike gps computers.

You could get Tasker to do it (assuming you are on android?) - https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/f958 ... 2de7958f59

But that will probably take quite a lot of setting up.

Can't quite work out if this is a great bargain, or if there is something wrong with it.

Ridley full carbon TT bike, 105 11 speed gears, £855 with 0% credit over 18 months available:
    https://www.merlincycles.com/ridley-chr ... 14592.html

    Sizes L and M available.

The only caveat is that the geometry doesn't quite seem to be full on TT - still a lot more aggressive than the average road bike though.

  • Nice spot, thinking about ordering a couple at that price! 8)

Only a very brief look around the site, not somewhere I normally visit online, but they have some very competitive prices on some BF bikes today, especially Cubes...
    https://www.tweekscycles.com/uk/bikes-f ... /price_uk/

    Few highlights...
    https://www.tweekscycles.com/uk/cube-at ... 8-1423163/ (£350, ~£150 cheaper than elsewhere I've seen)

    https://www.tweekscycles.com/uk/cube-at ... 8-1423159/ (£550 for 105 5800)

    https://www.tweekscycles.com/uk/cube-li ... 7-1235076/ (£1000, ~7.4Kg carbon frame Ultegra 6800)

Almost too good to be true... Do they have a shocking customer service reputation or something?

I've heard some stories from others but they've always been OK for me. They aren't far from home (used to work 5 mins walk away) so usually just go into the shop.
  • Thanks @ thistle, still deliberating those jerseys, plus a pair of https://www.tweekscycles.com/uk/northwa ... s-2004184/ for £105, with ~4% cashback.

BLACKFRIDAY18 gets 20% off everything at https://www.ubyk.co.uk/ (another place I've never bought from before)

They have the 25mm version in stock and other sizes on pre-order, if you fancy buying https://www.ubyk.co.uk/continental-gran ... less/76973 for ~£52 each

    https://www.ubyk.co.uk/shimano-105-5800 ... ette/26519 11-32 cassette looks a steal for ~£26 with the code.

Now, UBYK, they do have a bad reputation.
And sneakily up for sale. Allegedly.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Is anyone using a Eurosport Player subscription with a Fire TV at the moment?

Thinking about picking one up in the sales, although status seems ambiguous (app is available, some people say it doesn't work....)

Works fine with a chromecast, incidentally.
Answering my own question, borrowed my Dad's Fire TV stick and eurosport player seems to work fine on it.

Not as good as the USA discount but there are a few companies offering the new ipad 9.7 for £260 i cant say I've heard of any of them before, i suspect they'll just be buying USA stock and shipping them on.

yeah i looked at those but the specs seem very low running a heavily modified (for the worse) version of android, i'm never buying another phone or tablet with modified android or one that prevents loading vanilla android.

my hudl 2 is still running all be it with a lot of help but could run perfectly well on a modern OS if tesco had allowed it to be fully unlocked or carried on with updates.

To be honest, I only ever use them for storing and playing media e.g. books, amazon prime video, netflix and BBC iplayer really. So they're perfect for that.

Missed out on this over the weekend. Should have pulled the trigger on Saturday but had to wait for the C2W Gods to approve it in the office this morning and it's gone.

sub 7.4kg for £1000 in my size was just too good to be true! :(

UPDATE: Anyone have any experience of Roux bikes? I can't seem to find a weight, but this seems like an ok spec' for the money

I just got one for the tv in the garage. £25 Black Friday. Figured the voice remote would make it easier to use on the turbo. Assuming I can speak.

yeah grabbed one myself but i think the voice remote only comes with the more expensive 4k version despite the pic on the cheaper model.

Whatever if it means Mrs itboffin can watch that dreadful dancing shite in the office without bugging me to enable casting then its already worth the expense.

The cheaper one does include the voice remote. The more expensive ones remote is slightly different though, it has an IR transmitter for turning on/off your telly and doing the volume.
