The Aldi cycling gear is up for pre-order online.
Not sure if the rechargeable lights with 3 year warranty would be worth a punt as a back up pair
https://www.aldi.co.uk/bikemate-recharg ... 7232202700I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -

Curious about how loose a fit the convertible jacket is https://www.aldi.co.uk/men%27s-converti ... 1242288501 and if the front pocket would fit a 6" mobile.================

Castelli Alpha ROS Light Jersey at Tweeks Cycles in antracite/black for £105 with a good range of sizes still available
I think its been cheaper than that in the past but haven't seen it that low in a while

https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bikes/ ... 4cm-frames
Have had this for over 2 weeks - which may be breaking the rules of this forum slightly but never mind! I was startled that this only cost £1500 (less if you are a British Cycling member) despite weighing a mere 7kg and having a SRAM force groupset - not to mention the geometry of the frame and striking looks. Not sure how much longer it is in stock though but with that price I might as well have stolen it!!0 -

I have no idea how much of it is the same as mine from a previous year but the front pocket looks a similar size but the zip is angled, mine is vertical. The rear pockets are three open ones and a lot deeper than the open ones on mine. Plus mine only has two open and one large zipped central pocket. The rear has a central, black panel but mine is an in the same fabric except the two side panels under the arms. Once the arms zip off (very easy to take off and put in again) mine has an almost tank top design at the shoulders, this season has short sleeves.
One annoyance of mine is the the inside flap on the main zip keeps folding back so you get a draft through the main zip on breezy days. It's got an elasticated strip of fabric folded over the edge which was sewn on stretched hence the tendency to fold back. Plus the front folds up at the zip.
It's currently what I've been wearing on my commute. It's great in the spring and autumn. Plus without the arms on it's great for cool early morning commutes then left off in warmer afternoon rides home. I might get the new one IF it fits. Mine barely fits, a bit short on arms and back length.0 -
Merino short sleeve from Aldi.
So much large stuff has disappeared from stock online, going to have to hammer it to the shops!Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

Huge amount of Louis Garneau kit going cheap. You can probably hazard an informed guess why, but it still means jumbo savings to be had for anyone stocking up their wardrobe - jerseys from £2.50, gloves from a fiver, arm warmers from a fiver. There's shoes in there but not a huge amount left. See them all here (used as size options are easier to filter there than the main site)0

Just plumped for a Louis Garneau Course helmet, reduced from £160 to £50 then a £5 off £50 spend so £45 delivered.
Seems like decent value from reading the reviews.0 -
Not directly cycling related, but 26" Keter Pro tool box for £10 from B&Q, courtesy of HKUD.

Purchased one to keep all the bike tools in - should fit in pedal wrenches and other long handled tools in easily.

You're not wrong there mate, the LG stuff is generally very good kit, and at that money you're on to a winner.
Interesting to see other higher end brands now discounting hard this week - eg Castelli Women's Cromo Light Jacket with 65% off (in Black), Ale Klimatik K-Stopper jacket, Castelli Women's Pro Light gilets and Funkier lightweight jacket all with 55% off
And various Castelli jerseys and Team Sky kit clearing with 50% off now with good size ranges.
Mainly at Wiggle but other retailers also. Whole load of it here
Now looking forward to see what tomorrow will bring!0 -
Edindevon wrote:Halfords currently have the JetBlack WhisperDrive DDM Trainer + App reduced to £262.61. http://www.halfords.com/cycling/turbo-trainers/trainers/jetblack-whisperdrive-ddm-trainer--app
This isn't marked as an internet exclusive so British Cycling members should be able to get a further 10% off.
This trainer is now down to £246.53 at Halfords having gone up to £400 a while ago. I imagine it will go back up in price and / or go out of stock if they sell a few.
Sale items are now excluded from the British Cycling members 10% off deal, but I guess you could try for it via click and collect.
Update 28/9/18 - This trainer is now £238.08.
Update 2/10/18 - Showing as £235.45, but no longer available for delivery or collection.0 -

There's nothing wrong with any of it, but it's not 3k and it certainly was never 8.5k
Humbug
It seems like you were right, as they never sold this out at £2999. Time are one the brands included in Merlin's current 10% off deal, so the bike can now be had for £2700.0 -
