Nice deal on the Buru evo7. I've got a Le Col windproof sitting in box in same colours though else I'd snap that up.

Muc off dry lube £3.99 for the 120 ml bottle at Halfords: https://www.halfords.com/cycling/bike-m ... cant-120ml

Amazon had it at the same price as an add-on item but I couldn't find anything else that wasn't cheaper at CRC etc.
10% off with BC card at Halfords - although the guy on the till said they were stopping the discount soon on stuff already discounted online. May be BS.

don't do it!! worst lube ever!

I am basing this on buying a few bottles on offer a while ago and never since, so it may have improved if they have changed it!

Seconded, go buy Smoove! That stuff isn't objectively cheap, but it's a bargain for how long it lasts and how good it is!

This has been a public service message.

WTF! Must... must... blacklist this thread in /etc/hosts.deny. Or spend money. More money. AAAAAARGHH

EDIT: thank god all those "bargains" are actually out of stock.

If you click on it, it shows as not available. It was doing that first thing this morning. There are loads of items "from" but actually no options for that price. Got a bit tiresome looking through.

Looks like you may have bagged the last small ones - be interested to hear what you make of them, reviews seem glowing.

I had some and sizing is key as the pad position is a bit odd. Good quality but not the best pad.

Not had a problem with the MucOff stuff, found it better than Finish Line since they changed the formula apart from the nozzle clogs more often.
I'll give the Smoove a try though once I get through the MucOff...

  • Apparently, Halfords "summer sale" ends this weekend.

The clothing sale has some decent bits in it, if you have patience to scour through all the sections, especially if you click and collect to use 10% British Cycling membership discount.

  • Rutland have some "spend and save" discount codes this weekend.

    £50 off £500+ basket
    £100 off £1000+ basket
    £200 off £2000+ basket

Could well be some good bike deals there on last year models.

https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/ro ... ack_381458 looks a cracking buy for £1089.14 with the code, these can take 45mm tyres, at least without the provided guards (also comes with pannier and dynamo light set).
Only the 50cm frame left, with 376mm reach and 533 stack, probably good for someone ~5'7".

  • Not sure if anyone has posted but the Garmin Fenix 5 is £380 or so at Wiggle.

Which is good. Even better given that it's the performance pack with the otherwise £75 tri HRM.

What's the sizing like on Planet X shiz?

Often looked at their 365 stuff for commuting but often put off by their reputation to deal with if I needed/ wanted to return something ill-fitting.

I'm a M in Castelli, small in most others.

Depends what you order, I suspect!

I went with the size guides for each product, paying attention to any remarks in the reviews about sizing last week. I'm a medium for most stuff I order these days, but I don't buy "fancy brands" like Castelli.

Off the top of my woolly head, I think all clothing I ordered was the smallest size available and it all fits fine (Flanders non-pro jersey; Sorbek socks; 365 leg warmers; Coolmax arm warmers; 365 sleeveless baselayer). I was happy to pay ~£42 having now received them, so I'm trying not to get annoyed that they would now cost ~£34... But being so new and being full of lurgy for the past week, I've yet to see how they handle a single ride, nevermind several months!

In fairness to PX, I think a lot of their clothing is quite decent for the price, I'd be much happier to take a punt at their clothing than a bike.
