M and M Direct (tustworthy site) doing Adidas Sky Bibshorts for £19.99

    http://www.mandmdirect.com/products-adi ... AD8244.htm

    Small and med only.

Never worn bibs shorts... Given my height (5'10) medium or small? I take small's normally in shorts and cannondale tops (a degree of compression) Waist varies around the 31 mark but will the height change and or over stretch if I get a small...

edit: ribble has heights too so going with small.

Same size as you and I went with medium. Site had the medium waste size at 32"

I always buy Italian brands in a large.

Oops, just realised I posted in the 'what have you bought thread' rather than here...

Went for a pair of the bibs in small (which was all that was left when I got there). Added a pair of trainers to use the code (ta for that!).

These'll be my very first bibs!

Wow that place sells a lot of lights. How do you know which to get?

Have people got any experience with them? Are they reliable?

I have used many DealExtreme torches over the past few years, some are ace, some are shite, all are quite cheap. The do take a while to deliver, though.

Mmm, peculiarly short arms (I'm not that much of a knuckle-dragger) but fine around the chest - sent back for a refund. Shame, as it was the usual Assos high quality.

The 'TrustFire' brand is quite reliable for torches,
look for the CREE or SSC name on headlights/front lights,
then browse away, check customer reviews of products you
are interested or copy & paste your fancied light ID into one
of the (I kid you not) candlepower forums
Delivery is reliable, if slow, generally 10 - 14 days,
and all feels a bit vague the first time you order,
but if you don't get an update when they despatch,
e-mail them and they usualy reply (in Pidgin English)
    in a day or so.
Ordered probably a dozen bits and bobs off DX over the
last 18 months and nothing has failed to arrive, as yet,
and have NEVER been stung by HMC&E, even when order
    was over $100.

ps you will need a 230V adaptor from poundland
for the charging plug.....I forget how much they are
    Happy shopping :D

    Thanks prb007

I ordered a light, and have had the following email from them.
Thank you for ordering from DealExtreme.com. To ensure the payment was made as per your request, further confirmation is needed for this payment. Would you please choose one of these methods as listed below to help confirm your payment process and information?(click here to see sample):

    1. A photo/copy/screenshot of your credit card bill (Any previous purchase invoice will suffice). It would be better if we can clearly see both the first 6 digits and last 4 digits of your card number and the cardholder name on the bill.

    2. A photo/copy/screenshot of both sides of your credit card. For the safety of your account and card number, (please cover or black-out the CVV2/CVC2/CSC2 code) just show us the first 6 digits and last 4 digits of your card number.

    3. A photo/copy/screenshot of the cardholder's ID card/ Passport/Driver license.

Does that seem odd? When ordering I gave my card no, expiry date, csv no, name and address. It went though 3D secure as normal. Anyone had similar experience when ordering the first time from them?

This seems quite natural..... give them the information, get a beer and sit down and watch your Bank Account balance drain away, and your identity be used for numerous purchases, terrorist passports etc. etc. ....

(nice "Entourage" ref, though - cheered me up!)

Also +1 to using PayPal for dealextreme. Best purchase has been a cellphone jammer - had some fun with that geegaw, esp. in 'quiet' railway carriages.

Best indoors, as it's not a very powerful transmitter. Not a great standby time- charge overnight for a couple of hours' use the next day. Or buy the mains-powered version to counter both issues.

*disclaimer: probably illegal to use under various Wireless & Telegraphy Acts & whatever legislation is currently in play for the "phone hacking" investigations.

I don't understand why such things aren't actually built in to so called quiet coaches. Mind you, they won't deal with the more serious problem of the crappy little iPODs. Surely, in a quiet coach, it is legal to carry a pair of scissors for the purpose of headphone cable snipping?
