The £9,000 Dogma in the window is not a bargain and, frustratingly, it is locked down.

Whats the fit like on Mavic Bibs, Gussio?
Bought a pair of Heliums a couple of years ago. Sizing is similar to Castelli IIRC. They're pretty good

I didn't get on with them to be honest. Have heard good things about the Mavic stuff, but the sizing didn't quite work for me (tall and skinny). The legs were OK in the XL but the body was on the capacious size. Annoying, because I am so in the market for a pair of 3/4s and the price works....

Should have 'visited' a week ago, the Dogma could have been up for grabs

I would be willing to do 6mths hard time for that bike. It is in Sky colours *drool*

I often head straight to the gym after commuting in. Last thing anyone wants to see just after breakfast is me squatting in bib shorts.

I bought some of their shorts a year or two back:

    http://www.tenn-outdoors.co.uk/mens-bib ... blackred-s

These ones in fact. They've been pretty good, actually. They're well fitted, with a cheap, yet not uncomfortable pad. Worth pointing out that the "mesh" back is more accurately known as fishnet stocking material, but if you don't mind being a bit Rocky Horror, they're fine. The lycra used is pretty thick too, so a bit warmer than my other shorts.

Because the shock of seeing my butt in lycra could cause drivers to swerve dangerously into the other lane. And I don't want to cause an accident.

Never worn bibs shorts... Given my height (5'10) medium or small? I take small's normally in shorts and cannondale tops (a degree of compression) Waist varies around the 31 mark but will the height change and or over stretch if I get a small...

edit: ribble has heights too so going with small.

I've got a similar wasit, an inch or two taller, and I wear a medium in DHB bib shorts. I have to get the balance between height and skinny-ness right  So I took a chance and ordered these in medium.
