Sorry, can't make tomorrow now as it seems we're going out! Away for the next couple of weekends, so it'll be awhile before I make another ride. Might try and fit in a couple of week day rides, so I'll post up to see if anyone is around. Have fun tomorrow :)

Who's up for tomorrow? Meet up at Peaslake (Walking bottom) at 9.00? Suggested route Holmbury-Leith-Redlands-Holmbury* ... raise your hands people.

FFC - I take it the back is no go? Shame about that. Don't seem to have much luck when you've been out with me :D

Where about in Dorking? Any chance of postcode for TomTom, or any other landmarks?

If it's same as last time, then Parsonage Square, Dorking RH4 1UP.

Basically A25 through Dorking, turn up Station Road by the Star Inn, and then it's second turning on the right round the back to the right where there's some parking behind offices.

Scrolled through forum pages ... is it Parsonage Square in Dorking I have to search for? ... think I've found it. So then it's 10.00

Didn't make anything today after school ride yesterday morning and road ride last night.
The33tler took his old spesh rigid mtb with some slicks on, and I still couldn't keep up, so I sulked today.
Hope you guys had a good ride.
    Hopefully next weekend.

    After today's Sunday ride ...

Managed to kill off my legs on mild climbs, was dragging a bit towards the end of a ride. But loved some -Rad- style trails, DKenny did looked good riding rad* trails. Think Richard Co spread some skillz influence. Those top rides do give some nice self confidence, taking my hat off for that!

Even then, that was epic enough for me to drag behind whole group ... those cramps didn't help either after some longish 6hour ride. Looked like an old pro-stitue in sudden convulsions hehe, but will battle with that fitness issue for sure.

Completely shattered after yesterday. Dorking -> Ranmore -> Pitch -> Holmbury -> Leith -> Dorking. 30 miles apparently, and all with minimal stops aside from a brief lunch.

I was pretty much dead by the climb up to Leith.

Good fun, and thanks again to Richard for a whole load of new trails and shortcuts. Great to ride with someone who pushes your abilities too. Managed one of the bigger steep drop/roll-ins, though somewhat by accident having not realised it was there so just went for it :D. Still keep bottling it on most.

For 2 weeks in a row, I won't be able to join group rides ... those shifts I do won't allow. Will try to squeeze some early rides this week, and some late lunch rides the week after. Think need to explore and find those rad* trails in Leith. Then it would be nice aggresive XC Redlands-Leith. Yeah baby, just like that!

p.s. must organise SWales trip in 2-3weeks, it would be a big sin to miss a sunny-dry weather.

I'm off out for a quick one on Saturday morning (got a flight on Sunday) if anyone is interested. Flexible on location but I'm off visiting family in the Pyrenees so if I break myself, not only will my loved ones murder me but there's no chance of riding down there :)

Hi Guys Quick news from the alps:

Ill upload i little vid from the alps later this morning, no riding this morning, getting race plates + insurance ,getting a mate from grenoble. repairing bits on bike...

so far fab riding, i only know if i come back, i ll be on a single 36 or 38 t ring. and maybe rear coil

Thanks to ATZ on hint on getting cheap vans at Tkmax, really works wonders.
All the riding with you guys really pays of here. :D And the Popstar climbing :D

qualifier seems alot easier than last year, though the climb is longer....
I ve turned a rear 2.5 minnion bald in 3 days and been through a set of pads.

The Lyrik u turn upfront and wider bars has changed the bike so much.

there have been many bad crashes, due a think to excess beer the night before, I had to call a rescue helicopter for a guy. and get an other one out of a big ditch ( dh Bike couldnt get round the switch backs...)

Oh and it seems I was over taken by Danny hart, really impressive the flow and ease to ride through the rough stuff.

enjoy rides in SH Ill be in for wales on 24 or 25..:D:D

I'll give the 24th/25th priority to MTBing if SWales is on the cards.

The airshow stuff doesn't matter as they were free tickets, and I'd only go if the weather is perfect and got nothing better to do :D

So, is the preference for a day, or is it worth looking at finding some place to stay for the weekend?

supra-man - Overheard the guy in the peaslake bike shop saying something about being out there so could bump into him too :D

I'm up for Saturday but it has to be relatively tame (i.e. a normal ride, nothing new or dangerous) and probably early as I'm off away on Sunday.

Supraman ... any video like that will do. Make sure you make better video's than me ... give some french flair (aka timeline 17.50**) !
