Conjuring up a plan for Sunday ride. Group shall decide if wants more fun then Redhill-Leith, but as many are unfit could conjure up XC Winterfold-Pitch hills. Plan to start ride 9.30-10.00 for maximum effect.

As it stands now Popstar, Supra, Sunday Warrior* up for ride. Please vote for style of riding on Sunday and put your name.

@Cooldad, a get well soon gift..

Starting with a nice over the bars that had my left eyes land about 5mm from at tricking of the ground root that would I cost me an eye is I had gone any faster (still managed to scratch my eyebrow)
Then my rear tyre blow as I crossed a frozen puddle on a single track in Sandhurst
Took me a good 10 minutes to change it (don't ask)
Meanwhile my dog had a go at my left glove as I took it off to change the tyre and ripped the shit out of it (tanks for Ian latex glove my fingers are still intact but just)
And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

I'm keen for Sunday. I think the riding style I will vote for is 'fun'. although I will be happy to be out on the bike whatever the plan is.

I've still got to find that trail on Leith again so thats my preference. Redlands is a swamp, MrB rode through it last week and said he couldn't ride parts of it, he had to carry his bike at times.

The dog is only getting the glove for food in her plate for the next 24 hours :x

Thanks Thel33ter, but that's a stop for Redlands while we need to meet further up for Leith hill. Meeting place would be there or Leith hill Tower?

Would probably be best for everyone else (except me :P) to meet up where we did last week over near High ashes farm on the other side of leith hill. if not could always park in coldharbour somewhere and meet up near the plough.

and feel free to join us X1 just check back sometime later today and the time/place should be sorted :P

X1Hoy, you are welcome to join our group. Most probably the best place would be to meet at Leith Hill Tower as it gets a bit confusing with all those cheesy maps. The man all have to look out for would be Supraman on pimpy -Mondraker- . Once you see that red bike with funny wheels on you would know for sure.
    dune_news.jpg

Hope to meet you all at 9.30-10.00 Leith Hill tower.

Can't wait to rip some trails proper!

High Ashes is probably easiest. Just watch out for the low barrier in the car park, but there's a small one near by for cars with roof racks. Also has the advantage of being easy for the ambulance to get to :D

But if there's not many, just park up at Coldharbour. There are some other car parks not too far away too.

If you're coming southwards down Leith Hill road, just after high ashes farm entrance (on your right) is a carpark on the left. I believe they're saying they'll be there.

+1 for tomorrow"s outing chaps, and glad to hear Cooldad is on the mend after last week's helmet splitting acrobatics. See you all bright and early at High Ashes

Popstar says meet at the tower. Guess if you don't spot anyone at whatever car park you go to, just make your way to the tower. All those car parks have signs towards the tower.

I'll be there early so if someone who has my number gives me an idea when they might be at the tower I'll try to get to the right place at the right time.

@X1HOY good luck tomorrow, that lot couldn't organise a p1ss up in a brewery. Suggest you pm DK for his number as he always has his phone, and is always late, so you should be able to track him down. thel33ter's map is pretty close. Apart from the blingy bike, just look for a sad badly dressed bunch breathing hard.

    @Will77 - thanks.
I'll be strong by next weekend, think we are planning Swinley on Saturday and SH on Sunday. Will inject some fashion sense.
