  • Here's the latest in my history of Ti bikes, I got Justin Burls to copy the geometry of my Roubaix (see seperate thread) and add mudguard clearance, rack mount and a pump peg. The frame was delivered yesterday and it got its first ride this morning; it's bloody lovely. From initial contact with Justin to delivery took 32 days, not bad when the frame is from Russia.

Another gash mobile phone non OCP photo.

    Nice.

I rebuilt the Litespeed with Red and carbon FSA bars and am very much feeling the love again...

  • Does anyone else have a Planet X (Lynskey) Ti Sportive without the Made in Tenessee stickers ?. I was rather upset and confused a few months ago when i ordered my frame .

Didn't Lynskey stop doing them and production went elsewhere?

As far as I know they are manufactured by Van Nicholas now.

There are about 5 Lynskey Planet X frames left (all in size XL). As spanielsson said the 2010 Planet X Ti Sportive frames for sale are made by Van Nicholas. Luckily i wanted an XL frame so could get one of the older Lynskey frames - however aside from the aesthetics i don't think there is any real difference in quality

I love my Extralight. Such a shame I have not been able to ride it in months (recurrent knee injury), even more so since I have recently moved to the south of France near the pyrenees... At least, it stays clean

I'm no longer the owner of a Titanium bike. As a result my position of BR Ti Club president is no longer tenable. I will stand down when I have chosen a successor.
Please put forward your nominations (or nominate yourself) telling me why that person/yourself should be president.
