what's the next thing on your list?
Just ordered the SDG Bel Air RL Cro-Mo in Black/Red today, so that'll be here on Tuesday probably, then I'm gonna save for the forks next, so that gets the most expensive item out of the way! Then the brakes, wheels, cassette and then its all done! Hoorah :shock:Orange 2010 P7 - Custom Build - My New Bikey Poos

I loved the SDG Bel Air on a test ride a few months back so thats why I have just ordered one.
My mind is still on the new '10 Rev Teams, only thing I'm not sure on is do I get the fixed travel ones and change internally to 140mm and save some weight or do I just get the U-Turns and adjust to 140mm that way? :?:Orange 2010 P7 - Custom Build - My New Bikey Poos

I'm kinda thinking that if I do get the U-Turns then at least I have the option and also easier to sell on if I ever wanted to? Just worried about the extra weight, especially if I find myself always running them at full tilt?Orange 2010 P7 - Custom Build - My New Bikey Poos

yeah, i would reccommend u-turns, even if they are a bit heavier, it's probably not a great deal of weight, and the longer the travel, the low speed handling will be worse and it totally changes the geometry of the bike.0

Deffo consider getting one, they are very comfortable, merlin have a basic black one for under 20 notesPenylope wrote:Hmm, i had one of those (well, still got it), had a problem with the rails coming loose at the back.

Rails coming loose  Won't be so comfy when the saddle breaks off and you end up being violated by the seatpost0 -
nice bike! i love the whole white/red/gunmetal thing (my bike has that colour scheem too!) you could go for the 09 rev's they are already 140mm, and have pretty much the exact same chassis and internal as 010, i also think they look better! (and they are cheap at the mo couse 010 is comin out!I like bikes and stuff0

Thanks man,
I'm gonna go for the '10 Revs for a few reasons, they have the Black Box internals, they also have the power bulges and also this year they have the matching white crown, only downside is that they cost more, but I've had a change of mind in that I'm gonna leave them as the last purchase so hopefully by then they will be a bit cheaper?Orange 2010 P7 - Custom Build - My New Bikey Poos

They're too nice
You'll have to let me know how they ride before i make my final decision on the M4's or these.

Have you decided on a wheelset yet DMC?
Apologies if you have already mentioned it in a previous post.
Been keeping a keen eye on this WIP, loving the shiny pictures. Just need a set of shiny tools now to do the build justice!0 -
christ, what are you planning to do with those brakes? :shock:0

Still a little unsure of the wheels, but thinking something like Mavic 719s on red Hope Pro 2s or maybe a little stronger like the Mavic 721s? Not sure yet but the wheels are likely my next purchase.Orange 2010 P7 - Custom Build - My New Bikey Poos
