My new build is taking a while as that won't be together until i'm happy with it, the frame needs new bloody bearings all over, bloody ebayers...

Forks are still the Rev Teams Dual Air Maxles. I'm on the 4th set of forks

Pics to come as soon as my tyres arrive, hopefully tomorrow now.

Last set of forks took a little while but the main reason for the delay is I was away looking after me mother and only just back now.

Hope you get the frame sorted soon, I really hate it when people take the mick on ebay :evil:

Its the 3rd set with different shades of metal on the stanchions, doesn't really notice in the flesh, gonna keep these ones as everything else on them seems ok at the moment.

Cheers, i managed to get him to refund me a little on the cost of the new bearings which are currently in the post, should be done in a couple of weeks once i've bought some choice parts (you know i'm going all X.0 on the drivetrain )

Those forks look awesome by the way!

Why is it?

I've spent much more than that before, on stuff I used FAR less (£4k on a Gas GasTrails Bike being a prime example).

It's like this whole over/under biked argument. So long as DMC ends up with a bike he likes to ride, it's no-one elses concern how much it cost, or how often he rides it.

Yea fair enough its his choice!

I just find it funny that he's spent more time building than riding... I could never do that, i'd get bored!

I just meant that spending it over time on something he doesn't do is silly! i'd at least be doing some fairly serious riding in the meantime!

Its like buying a car and modding it even though you don't drive and have had no lessons!

finally it's nearly finished. all the parts are looking sweet . if you don't like it i'll kindly recycle it for you . you better ride it every bloody day to make up for all that time :P

I've had the use of the Fury so I've not been bikeless so to speak and researching/learning about all the bike stuff is alot of fun too.

Its gonna look good as my pub/hack bike don't you think :roll:
