I see you're located in NI as well
Where's your commute?“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Where's your commute?
Belfast to Drumaness.
My long route home at the minute is through comber on the comber greenway out of town and backroads all the way home. Stretched it over to just outside Killyleagh tonight and in through crossgar.
Ace ride!
Sometimes would do the lisburn side out of town and over Slieve Croob but it can wait for longer evenings and my geared bike making a return
Where abouts is yours?0 -
Oh i'm back tomorrow even in the ice, yes ice! white as white can be right now.

The full journey is Portrush to Derry (60 mile round trip) which is way too far for me, especially to be in work for 8am.
Currently ditching the car in Ballykelly (15.5 miles round trip) and riding in, not too bad but the 60 mptraffic can be a bit daunting
When the clocks change and I have some light, I intend to park in Limavady (24 mile round trip)
The (wild) ambition is to do the full commute at least a couple of days a week in the summer.“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

No other options? Through Eglinton from greysteel?
I prefer the longer off the main road routes for the simple reason that they are more interesting, especially in the nice weather. Dont know if i'd fancy an A road every morning.0 -

CiB - I'm missing from the final stats for 2009 - I even submitted times in late December
If you're not in the final 2009 list I'll have a squint at it tonight and PM you with the reason.0 -

Dammit, as if my commute wasn't short enough I'm not even on the bike today thanks to an afternoon meeting down in yokel land.

We did agree at the start that January was just the Grand Depart, the neutralized roll out?
Didn't we?“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Thanks for that . Aiming to at least double last years mileage this year so I hope a top 20 will be possible. That would of course mean kicking you off the teens even if you equal last yearFaster than a tent.......0 -

My knees tell me I'm trying plenty hard enough,...but they really don't like the cold.
I think I'll content myself with ticking over in the 11 to 14 positions until weather gets warmer - then I'll step my game up a bit.0 -
A nice 26 miles last night after work.
Regarding the stats, when I click on my name I can't see my ride history which used to be visible - should it still be showing when I click on my name link?_________________________________________________
