Back on the bike today. That 5000 target is looking a bit shakey for me now, but at least I'm working right through to New Year this year - so there's a chance I'll make it up.

No. Aint going to happen. I know your game.

    :D

The next few weeks are all about mince pies for me. I'm long-term tired and the bikes are knackered too.

So, any late challengers know what they need to aim for....

Weekend changes have done the trick CiB, unblocked at work and phone now - nice one, thks. Only 67 miles last week though and rest od December is looking dicey too; the lure of the beer glass is strong this week.
  • I'd take it wasy if I were you Cambs, you've earned a good drink...

Incidentally, on the full list I realised I'd past LiT, who was way ahead at one point and seems to have stopped a while ago - she was a regular updater and contributor to the banter - anyone know if she is OK?

Yeah - excellent work CiB. One of my objections to the website was going to be the overhead for maintaining the site, but you've been a trooper* .

She's been posting in other threads, so I'd assume so...

Yeah, I know what you mean by being tired: I was goosed the week before last and now I'm ill. And, as Cambs said, beer...

Sorry fellas, I hadn't logged a couple of week's mileage. Still I'm all done for this week unless I wake up Sunday with blue skies and temperatures above 15c. So I expect you to jump back up once you post your mileage.

I'm past caring. I've had such a long run of bad luck with this since early October that I'm just aiming to get as close as possible to 5,000 miles by end of the year....and keeping my fitness so I can launch myself straight into next year at the top end of the table.

128 miles left to make 4k. Should be close.

Anyone else keeping 1st, 2nd and 3rd free for an early attack on the 2010 lead?
Have Flanders in Apr, so should be a good start to the year for me.
