I've been record my weight, distance, speeds for each leg of the commute, type of bike, cloud, wind HR avg & max pretty much since I started this thread
I like it....when you say cloud do you mean 'yes there is some' or ' ah what a lovely cirrus stratus this morning!' :roll:FCN 8 mainly

ITB - do you have any kind of protein/recovery drink to do those miles/stats? I had some when I was buliking back up after an illness in the spring and it has now run out (about 2 weeks ago) and I am feeling a bit more jaded than I would normally I think.
un-godly amounts of coffee and Guinness not mixed together mind you that would just be weird.
No breakfast either can't face food before 10-11amRule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.

over the 5000 miles line. 3 weeks early this year. Could be on for a PB.0

Many congrats - I'll be breaking 4,000 on the way home tonight. I'm still aiming for 5,000 by the end of the year, but I do have a lot of time out of the saddle coming up :?Giant Escape R1

It is a bit isn't it. Funny how colours that look restrained on a couple of monitors look so different on another in a different place. I just fancied giving it a lift, adding some colour to it. Hey-ho.
I was hoping to crack the Top 10 soon now that Porgy's having a bit of time off, but ellieb has joined and nipped in front of me with a 250 mile lead, and now Porgy's risen from the dead with a 20 miler, closing the gap a bit. Illusive or what, the top 10?0 -

Part of my time off has been the realisation that I'm not really going to crack the top ten this year.
So rather than knacker myself out this year, I'm biding my time for 2010.0 -

I've been holding onto the coveted 10th place by the skin of my teeth.
The breath on my neck is warm and from multiple sources. Sorry - off track there for a moment :oops:Giant Escape R1

I think the top spots are starting to stablise. Can`t see the winter changing their cycling habits/addictions.0

CIB - good work with the page. Looks better (IMO) .
EDIT: The target for the year is 8,000 miles. That'll be a PB by over 1,000 miles, but it's a touch and go.FCN 2-4.

Broke into 4 figures today just got to add my miles to the page.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Not that it is relevant to the table but, a personal SCS achieved last week was a new fastest time for the round trip which broke an important barrier.
48 minutes and 59 seconds . I pulled up infront of my front door and watched the timer go 57, 58, 59 and then stop
The bad news is that that means I'll be running my new tougher route all week.........Faster than a tent.......0 -
bit of a glitch today with October miles going up already and some of the september miles being sliced across?0

Depends which page you're looking at.
Regular Updaters is ok, but All Users has gone a bit cockeyed.
Or it might just be caused by eye damage after looking at the page for too long...
(Actually I quite like the new colours).Specialized Allez

I spotted that earlier - no big issue; it'll be resolved later today. If you look at the All User list it's caused by the User column being being duplicated. Tsssk.
Good to see largely +ve comments on the colours. Everything needs a lift from time to time; the blue on blue did, in my eyes at least.0 -
I wonder what the cut off will be to get into the top 10 by the year end, 6k?FCN 8 mainly

Didn't want to make it too easy for you by pointing out the exact problem. I don't see why your bug reports should be any more useful than the ones I usually get...Specialized Allez

Went to add my elevation just now - 55,000 feet - and it's still at 0. I tried again - still at 0.
Am I doing it wrong or is there a problem? :?0 -

It knows that you can't cover 55000 feet in London
You can add height both through the normal mileage entry page and directly by clicking on the mileage box - does it fail on both? I added height yesterday without problem.Faster than a tent.......0 -

Rolf F - looking at your route profile, shouldn't you be in the centre of the earth by now - oh right, I get it, you go back the opposite way! Might have a go at doing one of those this weekend.0 -

Ahh but I live in Kent - the other side of Shooter's Hill. 8)
Yep - I tried both those methods of entry and still ended up with a big fat zero.0 -
Worked for me. What's the problem? It now says 55000 feet on my browser.
The only thing I can think is that the PHP IsNumeric function returns false for a formatted number - 55,000 instead of 55000. Maybe that was it.0 -
I can see you at 55,000 too. 7 places beneath me and 8 behind ITB who appears to be in the stratosphere and somewhat uncatchable!0

No, you were right first time. I cycle into Leeds each morning, dump the bike, get helicoptered back in the evening and am ready to start again the following morning on a new bike. This cycling isn't working out as cheaply as I thought it would tbh
As it happens, I'm thinking I might turn the profile round - I am going to change it for my tougher route which I am trying to make my default now.Faster than a tent.......0 -

Coming up on double last year's total mileage for me.
I'm pleased, sure. But also a bit worried about blowing up - y'know like ITB.
Consistency during the dark, wet, cold winter months - that's the key I reckon.0 -
If you considered your climbing in a fractal sense you could probably quote an almost infinite number of feet. I am deeply suspicious of that stat and won't be contributing (which has nothing to do with Putney Bridge being the biggest climb on my commute).0
