    Ouch hope it's ok not quite as bad as itb yet., after 4 days of eating and drinking I was desperate to get out and do something.

    right I'm off to the gym (may just sit in the steam room though :lol:

    Thanks to a cocktail of drugs washed down with 2 bottles of red wine then followed by 12 hours of coma like sleep, I actually feel okay today.

    I might just venture outside for a little look see :roll:

    True but all the same a quick spin will do me good, i've not ridden since the 16th well 1.6 mile the other day but that didnt count.

    Here in yokel-land there's a network of bridleways and trails crossing the local villages, barely marked but clear of vegetation and wide enough for a tractor. I've been meaning to explore some of them for a while, today seemed as good as any ...

    Oh boy that was hard work 2.6 miles of mud so deep in places my tyres disappeared, strictly granny gears all the way round, fun but to difficult to do any distance.

    I think CP is at work today so that 20ish buffer you have will disappear when he rides home, i'd get out there while it's still light and bag a couple more miles.

    Hope everyone has a great New year and well done for all the wonderful miles everyone has cycled for the year, half a million isn't too shabby.

    A bit shy of my 8000 target but a few colds, an op on my shoulder and then all the ice and snow somewhat slowed me down, so just managed to get over 7500 miles so well happy with that as its well over last year.

    Cheers CIB for a great stats table this year, loved it

    Will try and get more involved on the Forum again next year, been very slack this year for numerous reasons

    Well done the Top 5 in the table over 10k is seriously impressive

    I went out and did four laps of victoria park at lunch when I got back nothing near me was open so I had to get on the bobike to waitrose

    your 40 miles when I came back was not a welcome sight, I thought I might have sewn it up with that little number.

    I'm supposed to have a nice boozy lunch tomorrow but V is ill, I'm gently persuading her she wont be able to eat the rich food. If she can then so be it my miles will be limited and hands tied...
