Start at The Ostrich, then ride clockwise to The Cottage, Nova Scotia, Pump House, Grain Barge? Then the many bars on Bordeaux Quay and finish at Mud Dock to have the stabilisers fitted for the ride home.
18:00ish at MDs on tuesday 21/04/09?
The above sounds perfect for a summer's evening which isn't a school night
Yup, 6ish Tues 21st, Mud Dock.
Oh and TRADESIZE - yes I think I can guarantee friendliness!0 -
Just a reminder to those at a loose end tomorrow night about Tuesday at 6pm at Mud Dock, those with £4k Viners are more than welcome just don't leave it outside.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Hey Guys'n'gals
Sadly don't think I will be able to make this one, will try and pop in if possible, but will be having a manic week sorting out stuff I should have done ages ago, before I go on me hols :):):)
..and typically looks like it will be a nice evening for an outside pint by the water, instead of trying to MTFU and sit outside shivering!!

Was tempted to get some grub there then I looked at the menu on the webbie portal  for me anyway.
Should be cleaning the flat for next tuesdays visit but a bloke and cleaning don't really mix in my household.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -

Great to see you guys last night.....riding up hill after 2 pints of lager is a challenge! I really can't drink for sh1te!0
-
Ditto!
Stayed for 3 pints, felt it rather more this time thank last, dropped my bike 2 or 3 times spilling the contents of my rack pack before finally unlocking it properly and hopping on
Got home and nommed my way through doritos and hot salsa, downed a load of milk due to my mouth burning up, then decided a big bowl of popcorn would be a good idea before bed. What an amazing dinner - didn't sleep too great..!!
I'm a spanner. Remind me to buy chips with my beer next time... Got home safe enough though thankfully!
...I think redvee took rather a detour on his way home, though...0 -

Guilty as charged but didn't stay long. 3 pints, no lights after dark isn't a good idea though I got home a lot quicker and straighter than sara I think. Was tempted to got some grub at Mud Dock but that would have meant another drink etc. As it was we left at the right time I think.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -

We were sat right at the top of the outside stairs. Sara was on the cyclist looking amongst the big group attending, me and gtv were in casuals. You might have popped by as we took shelter indoors.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

TRADESIZE wrote:if you go to beeses you can also cycle down the river path on the oppesite to beeses about 2-3 miles to here:

which is not as nice as beeses but still worth the ride to
Took the riverside path fom Conham Park at the end of Crews Hole Road and it isn't bike friendly. I coped on my Inbred but those on narrow 700 wheels will struggle, too many bumps etc. In the dry it is OK but there are numerous mudholes and hoofprints. Looks like the best way to access it is via the road with the climbs and descentsI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
