Aye, let's say Duke, but chances are if it's raining that there'll be more seating space in the Trow opposite. As long as you lot are happy locking up outside out of eyesight..!

Just post the numbers on the Internet what could possibly go wrong

I'll never forget my first trip to Brizzle, I was checking into a Hotel and was met by a bellboy who's accent was so strong I actually thought he was taking the piss!

    Do love Bristol though!

Haha, just watched the heavy rain flash happen outside... seems a little calmer for a bit but we'll see how long that lasts! I'd have to cycle through town anyway so I'm still game assuming the rest are :)

gerty - PM someone your number so we can tell you if we move - although I gather Duke then Trow would be the first move, if any :)

I may not arrive until 1845ish so I might not be the best person to send to unless you'll be later than I!

Bumfluff. You wait for a pub visit & two come along at once. Next time maybe; pity I would have enjoyed an easy ride wheelsucking Attica back home.

Well it's likely another Brizzle one won't be far off, seeing as it was only suggested Friday and then happened on Tuesday :)

EDIT yes I'm already home but when we're all pedalling back, more than 3 pints ain't a good plan... And I may be the closest to town centre..?

You lose. I claim my crown. 1.2 miles against your 2.0 miles to SJL according to googlemaps

There has to be more than 5 of us on BR that live in Brizzle. Where were you?

Thanks to Sara for suggesting a pi$$ up and actually getting it off the ground, looks like you and me have to buy a round next time around.,
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Aye I tried to buy a round twice but was superseded - not that I put up much of a fight!

    Next time...

Wait, how does thee know where Oi lives?

Cause you told me! Not exactly but you said about SJL and plotted that far which seems to be too close for comfort

Oh! Have only just figured out what you meant by SJL!

Aye, fair enough :) Wouldn't be too bothered if you knew anyway, innit. Mind you, Google Maps puts my doorstep to the Old Duke at about 1.3 miles!

felt the first drips of the rain at about 5 miles to go, hunkered down to fight the wind and went into serious overdrive riding into the storm in an attempt to get home before the inevitable soaking.

Sadly I failed, somewhat soaked by the time I got in, all good training though.

Good to see everybody last night, when is the next one?

    /me checks diary

You know, I'd be up for a regularish Tuesday - weekends usually get booked up well in advance, which is both a pain and a good thing.

Also Weds is my rest/driving day which makes a pint or few less painful the next morning and the Tues evening's recycling routine is somehow more fun when a little tiddly...

Good to see you all last night - sorry to hear about the drenching ol' boy....all part of the "fun"!

I am "working from home" today.....bloody VPN is not working propelry though, I best go and get another cup of tea....that'll help!

Tuesdays is good with me - however, Tuesday is also Fixed Bristol social at the Portwall Tavern from 8pm!
And Thursday is trackdropouts on the Quayside.....Am I becoming a socialite in my old age?
