I wasn't saying it hadn't happened, I just didn't want to watch the whole 10 minute video for nothing!

2:30, I can't see anything. 4:16, yep, he crosses the central line, but the van he's overtaking has got 4 feet of empty road to his left, and seems to move right as KB passes. The car coming the other way has got loads of room. At 4:14, when KB is just behind the van as the silver Audi comes past in the opposite direction, you could literally get a bus in the gap between the car and van.

6:48....possibly a little naughty, if the traffic is over 10mph, but we don't know if it was.

All in all, Kieran_Burns is a self righteous law breaking cyclist with a sense of entitlement and he deserves to be trolled/stalked!:wink:

Quite a fair article, that (though the Guardian Bike Blog is pretty good in general). I guess they've disabled comments after seeing the heights of intellectual discourse reached on YouTube... (Edit - They've got comments enabled now. Brave moderators!)

Strikes me that if so many people experience road rage when cycling it's not a huge surprise that more people don't commute by bike which is a massive shame and a spectacular failure of road policing; there can't be many lawful activities that attract that much abuse. It's interesting that, according to the man from the Met, camera footage comes second to witness statements despite the somewhat patchy nature of human memory. Might have to get a rear-facing cam as well!

I thought that odd. What happened to the camera never lies? I wonder if they are worried about selective editing.

Actually - you do: there's a speed sensor on the left :) it shows a single figure on the video as I go past

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

I thought it was the flash on the chain but yes it is a lovely shade of rust colour  Only a few links though. Guess I ought to stop riding through the fountains in Bristol

  • Dodgy junction and some dodgier driving. Really might have to find a route that doesn't take me down here, have had more trouble than anywhere else on my commute.

  • No one else posting vids? Had one of those days today, I think the bus company have a bounty out on me... I hope the next video I upload will be something rather more positive!

Bad on the driver's part, driving off without exchanging details. Could be classed as hit n run with the right judge hopefully. She saw him approaching and still pulled out.

It's one of those ones where because you know it ends in a collision you look out for, and spot, the danger.

Would I have done the same as him? I don't know, hopefully I'd have spotted the inidcator and slowed down.

Still, the driver shouldn't have pulled out in the first place, and certainly shouldn't have left the scene. Nice of her to admit she saw him and deliberately pulled out in front of him though.

"Oi seen yow, un yow was nowhere near me"....which doesn't really explain how she hit him, if they were nowhere near each other!

Awful driving in that previous link, some people shouldn't be allowed driving licenses.

Similarly, here's the youtube version of my rant from earlier - http://youtu.be/yvcnyHtoBmg - A fair number of incidents on my ride to work this morning.

tigger123 is a weird little stalker person - I would recommend treating him with the levity he deserves.

Just got home and had a chance to watch MF bike, that's brilliant!

Had a few funny moments on my commute tonight, and I wanted to get some footage up showing the lighter side instead of dodgy driving...

You see Nameinuse? Even the pedestrians in your video know what a hammy actor you are. They are trying to get in on the act to show you up.

Apart from likening it to watching paint dry, what exactly was the problem with the two cars turning left? Both indicated and then turned left :| . That road needs resurfacing though. What does fatuous mean?
