Some nice looking cycle lanes at the beginning. Was that car on the CP in Cable Street facing the wrong way (doesn't the two-way section start a little further down ?)0 -

Don't know what CP is, but he was facing the right way, but he is still using MY SPACE to park...! :evil:0 -

Recognised the stockwell to vauxhall bridge as part of my occasional commute route. Where was it that you started and what's the total distance, do you do that every day? I'd need to take a major detour to get close to that.0 -

Nice, that seems like a great distance to do, must keep you properly fit, my 7 or miles each way just doesn't feel quite enough but majorly detouring doesn't feel quite right. I need to move further out of town!0 -

Thank you! I got to admit I'm quite proud of it!
I start off in Lansdowne Way, then Lansdowne Gardens, Thron Road, cross South Lambeth road, Aldelbert Terrace, etc. The river is at Canary Wharf.
Unfortunatelly, a combination of You Tube wankers and music industry greedy bastards that don't allow us to have a bit of fun, blocked the audio in the video after I even disputed twice, so had to take it down. I keep seeing more and more videos using music, so I don't know why mine were targeted (I had to take down 2). In fact, I got another video using U2's Desire, all OK, no problems. Go figure. Does anybody know how to get round that? It makes me furiuous, with all the work I put on it! :x0 -

ahh, ok, now I get it, I clocked landsdown it was after that I got confused.. I go up and down south lambeth road and have noticed quite a few people going across / turning off at the thorne/aldebert junction but up til now never looked at a map to figure out how it all fit together... now I know, I feel enriched, bit of a map geek like that. Now to buy a camera and get my commute posted.0 -

Jesus, who would do that? I really doubt that Bono saw my little work of art, nor the guys from Temper Trap!
It's just so annoying! :x0 -

WVM and no indication. An email already fired off the the director of the companyI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
My Full commute, from my door to the garage at work. 2 miles, almost entirely downhill.
This is the most direct route.

Use the audioswap feature on YTube to add music legally, or make your own.You can buy library music cds for video production too just as you can clipart. It wont be Bono but it will be legal.
Edit: whats you're channel page on youtube, MM, or was it just the one vid? If you have more post the channel link here (eg www.youtube/user/name) and you might get more views0 -

Stand down everyone :P , I've got the same track on one of my video's, youtube now allow many tracks to be played, they also link them to the i-tunes site so you can buy the track.
I believe they made some deal with the music industry , though there are still many bands that refuse permission, so, put what you like on, if youtube remove it, use one from their stock collection.

You must have been the first to spot the cheap cameras, the video is nearly 2 years oldI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
lol, I've got a few cards, but only 1 of them has been date formatted.
It should be pointed out that I do not usually ride on the pavement (or through the precinct) but I wanted to test how secure that mount was after the last one vibrated quite badly.
I know it's still no excuse though and I apologise to anyone who I may have offended by doing so.
Was fun though0 -
Had some geriatric in a Citroen C2 (or maybe Toyota Aygo, I'm not entirely sure all these little boxes look alike to me) try to kill me this morning.
3:45 for the action. PS if you're watching at work, probably best to have the sound turned down, I was not best pleased and may have voiced my displeasure at him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrRnaVEmkvM
Clearly didnt see me despite me wearing full high viz, having my light on etc.
Thing that really got me is that he stared straight at me as he started to emerge, and just sort of froze and carried on rolling forward.
I'm just glad there was no traffic coming the other way at the time or it'd have been a choice between being road kill or going over his roof.0 -

I tried the audio swap thing, but there are lots of songs there that I don't know. To go through all of them will take me centuries! Besides, once I had the video done, I cannot thing of other tracks that would go with the footage.
I'll try another site.0 -

I got another video using U2's Desire, and that did not get the audio blocked. The cycling one stayed up for a week or so, then the audio was blocked. I think it might have been the Temper Trap song, or the 3rd one, which is part of the Ocean's 11 soundtrack, and there's only 15 seconds of it there!
However, I've seen lots of videos using Sweet Desperation (Temper Trap)!0 -

Wow, that was a hairy moment! And don't worry about the language. I've shouted worst things at people!
You go fast! What do you ride? Sounds like a mountain bike (the tyres).0 -
Aye 'tis a mountain bike, the poo coloured one in my sig.
I'm only fast because my house is at the top of a big hill and my office is at the bottom. Great going down, not so good coming back.0 -

What happened to the relic you bought/were given with the analogue speedo? I was looking forwards to seeing that as a commuter0 -
This is a vid of my first attempt at recording my commute. It didn't turn out that great, but it's worth watching for my sweet car pass at 6:05 in.

Sadly, upon further inspection, despite looking almost brand new, the relic had developed cracks on a couple of the welds. I've stripped it down and boxed up the parts (including the analogue speedo) so I might use it on anoher build in the future. Just need a suitable frame.0
